Also, for those who are unaware of the whole story about AntonBlast, it's basically that the devil just stole Anton's collection of booze for a tan and Anton is so angered by this that he decides to just destroy every levels in his path until he can find hell and blow it up as a way of teaching the devil a lesson.

This is absolutely GORGEOUS. Incredible that 15 years later people still love Wario Land! If Nintendo wants to let it die, the fans won't. I'll definitely be getting this game. Reminds me a lot of the Virtual Boy WL release in particular. Can't wait. Edit 1: wtf a free demo available RIGHT NOW? I GOTTA PLAY IT! Edit 2: okay i played it holy shit. Glad I caught wind of this while the kickstarter is still open. I'll be sure to back it the first chance I get, because the Wario Land series (especially 3 and 4) are my absolute favourite 2D platformers, and this is scratching that itch for me. Between this and Pizza Tower, it's great to see indie devs taking the reigns and making the kinds of games I grew up on.

I've lost count of how many times I've replayed this demo. Everything in this game is so damn satisfying. I cannot wait for this to come out, it's going to be one of the best platformers in YEARS. Wario would be very proud

Stumbled upon it on Discord and loved the demo! There are many neat hommages to the Wario Land series apart from the "obvious" stuff like the sound quality of Anton's voice samples reminding me of Wario Land 4 and the red Virtual Boy-esque bonus room. :D

@@TheNintenfan64 actually no,it sounds almost the same but you can slightly hear that isn't exactly wario's voice, the actual laugh comes from Antonball, where basically all of anton's voice lines are based off the wario land 4 voice lines

Although it claims that it's inspired by GBA WarioLand it's also inspired by WarioLand Virtual Boy, which is a huge, huge plus. Especially since Nintendo never gave us a remake for the Virtual Boy game and they even rejected a remake proposal.
