Seriously, the way the game looks reminds of games such as Jazz Jackrabbit mixed with the original Rayman and some old point and click adventure games from the 90's with some Cow and Chicken in there for good measure.
The fact that this actually feels like an actual video game 90s commercial even just like the original Wario Land games is crazy and definitely makes me excited. Can’t wait for this game to receive the same success that Pizza Tower did.

@@suziebelle3738 it's not an insult i am just saying a spiritual sequel not a rip off because Anton Blast can fit in the Pizza tower universe cause it feels like Wario land and it has the speed of Pizza tower but with a lot of chaos and I love it and both devs are friends
Man, I was on a livestream reaction to the Indie World Showcase, and when this came up, almost everyone was saying "Where's Pizza Tower?", one jackass even went so far as to say this was a Pizza Tower rip-off. Yeesh, some people don't appreciate what goes into game development, or that two people can have the same inspiration for a game. Awesome trailer, though, REALLY looking forward to November, here's hoping this game will be a big hit!
Thank you for saying this! It's unfortunate that indie games nowadays are being called "rip-offs" of a successor. It would be one if all the assets are way too similar, but Antonblast is not the case. They pretty much made it their own thing. It's only the genre of what's the same.
I think the decision to also release the game on Switch specifically was a REALLY REALLY good idea. After playing Pizza Tower I always thought it would play really well on the Switch, and here we have another game with the same inspiration doing exactly that. Played the Demo on mine, can confirm, it controls fantastically. I do hope the release will allow for button mapping, and the default rumble strength being at max was a bit too much in handheld mode, but that's my only minor gripes. (Though if you somehow manage to figure out the HD rumble system that Switch controllers have, and use it to create different vibrations for different things, my god that would feel amazing to play)
I can't stop watching this trailer, I'll play it when this video game comes out on my switch, and it broke my heart and my brain can't freakin wait to play this game soon

I know I made a joke somewhere about the most “unrealistic game announcement you wanted to see at indie world,” and I responded with “Pizza Tower 2.” Color me shocked that we got another spiritual successor to Wario Land. Looking forward to the release later this year.
I keep thinking about this game ever since this trailer; it has got so much STYLE and GOSH THE MUSIC AND ANIMATION!!!! I really look forward to the release!!! The team behind this is so skilled!!!!

Btw for anyone whos calling this an Pizza Tower rip-off just know both are Wario Land spiritual sucessors, look at that game and you will get It, but even with that Antonblast controls very differently
