fun fact: antonio brown approved of this episode so much that he downloaded, put his own watermark on it, and uploaded it to his personal channel. so, that's something.
“Hey Ben I was open on that 3rd down” “Oh ok I’ll look your way next time” That could have been this entire beef but we are dealing with 2 man children
@Adolf Hitler did u watch the video? Ben’s the one who started it. Who goes on a public radio show every week and bash their own players? Ab wasn’t the only player who had a problem with it.
@@ErikOlexiewicz The problem is Tomlin. He's historically been a "player's coach" which means he tried to be more of a peer than an authority figure. This should all have been nipped in the bud long before it ever grew to what it became. Ben shouldn't have been given free reign to do whatever he wanted, and AB should have been put in his place before he developed the out of control ego and diva behavior that we've all seen explode since he left. Yes Tomlin kept him somewhat under control, but he also created him. A hallmark of Steeler's football over the years has been the mentality that no player is bigger than the team, and in the last few years we've seen two high profile players who came to prominence under Tomlin who thought they were. One is out of football and has all but destroyed his image and career, and the other is now the latest reason why the Jets continue to be mediocre at best. I just don't see it ever getting to this point under a Cowher or Belichick (or even a non curmudgeon like Sean Payton or Pete Carroll) and that's why I think if you're going to point a finger it should be squarely at Tomlin.
Erik Olexiewicz I mean if you believe Ben he reached out to talk multiple times and brown didn’t help. But I mean Browns character has kinda been brought to the front with all this crap.
There’s no way this could be worked out. When you do when Ben does on the radio, which is objectively in bad taste, anyone who stands up to that will ultimately meet this fate given Ben’s status.
He literally didn’t say anything incorrect about AB lol. Ppl don’t want to admit that Ben was absolutely right and I absolutely hate him and believe he’s been lying about his sexual assault allegations.
@@lynnerose7891 even if he was right, you don’t say that in public. Keep in house. Nobody likes to get criticized in public even if it is constructive criticism
You know how hard it is for a child to get the name "Roethlisberger" right immediately? That kid knows that man, he probably got something signed by him somewhere
This week on "Days of Our Steelers"... The black and gold brigade head into a critical matchup against a division rival. Despite being surrounded by high end talent Captain Fatfuck will continue to blame his teammates for his poor play and one dimensional offense. The Diva will continue to throw hissy fits on the sideline as he is not thrown the ball enough to satisfy his ego. Mike Tomlin will continue to not adjust his playcalling to what the opposition is doing, thus dooming the Steelers to mediocrity while the Yinzers get drunk in the stadium parking lot. As the three rivers roll on to the sea, so to are the days of our Steelers...
Cianisboss kinda surprised to learn how Ben is. Makes me want to tell all the Steelers fans I know that you can’t put all the blame on AB with this history Ben has.
that would be the most one-sided beef they've ever done but now I just wanna hear Jon Bois specifically tell Lil Nas X's story of courage, heroism and hard ass bops in the face of discrimination and adversity
Same thing happened in Buffalo with the Bills but Thurman went to the GM cuz it was tearing the locker room, then GM talked to QB and Jim Kelly apologized, Big Ben career at QB is ending anyway, Like Eli Manning whom also has 2 RINGS, "Father time".
People have talked to death about Antonio's part in this, but a huge part of it is also that Ben doesn't seem to know how to say "my bad" and own up to his mistakes. It's always someone else's fault to him
Why would Ben have to say my bad? Was it really his bad? Or was brown just being a big ass baby and throwing tantrums? Oh yea he’s still throwing tantrums on the sideline for other teams.
@@aesir1ases64 my only question to that would be does he call hisself out too. He's always calling someone else out talking about ab should have ran a better route when he literally threw the ball to the db lol. If u gon call others out u have to be willing to call yourself out as well. We not gonna sit here and pretend like without ab Ben last years of his career wouldn't have been as good and the same goes for ab. Ben has been falling off in my opinion. When he allegedly raped those 2 women and paid them off I feel like that's what he should be addressing but hey that's just my opinion
@@garrettyamashiro1561 how can u watch this entire video and say Ben doesn't need to apologize for his actions. He repeatedly called ab out and ab kept turning the other cheek then he got fed up and finally told it like it is. Ben started this ab finished it. They both played there parts but we not ready to sit here and act like Ben is innocent in all of this because he's far from that.
I just hope none of those players watch sports shows. If they found out how their missed plays are being dissected they might never leave the house again.
@@palaceofwisdom9448 It's a little different having an analyst talk about what you did wrong than having your teammate come on the air specifically to talk shit about you.
AB has acted like a big baby much of his time in Pittsburgh, from whining about not getting the ball to chucking furniture out a window of an apartment. I have to imagine theres a cycle at work in Pittsburgh, AB is worse with Ben around and Ben is worse with AB around. Hes not wrong about Ben being a shit though.
Some comments by Ben were out of line but not all. If Antonio Brown throws a bitch fit over not getting the ball on a play where *the Steelers scored a touchdown* he needs to check himself. Does that sound like a team player?
AB overreacted multiple times with not getting the ball, but Big Ben broke rule number 1 and thats everything stays in house. Don’t air out team problems dummy
As soon as I knew he was gonna be on the cover, I immediately knew something bad was gonna happen. Not an injury. But definitely not all this. Other people knew it too I know I’m definitely not the only one.
@Kaizaro123 I’m a die hard Steelers fan and enjoyed watching Ben but he is kinda a bad boy and not in a cool way he throws he teammates under the Jerome Bettis with his radio and when he was young he was CRAZY I mean he was accused of sexual assault and did other weird stuff but He was very fun to watch
Bell didn't really have beef with anyone, he just wanted to get paid. Ben was the one making passive-aggressive comments but as far as I know bell never responded.
Boring unfunny days of our Steelers guy has the most annoying voice doesn't matter if it's just a character he ain't funny and never will be not even a Steelers fan
Bro as chubby and pasty as you are I know you ain't talkn trash! Rofl...fuckin doughboy nerd. Congratulations you played yaself. How u gonna just give Ben your trademarked nickname like that tho?!? Marching band bod lookin ass boi...
Crisco Disco JuJu is just a good guy. AB is just an overrated diva. He could’ve played in that game. But you know he has no passion and only cares about the money.
@@MichaelRivera-bc1xs talkedshit about Eli retired in 2006 called the Giants Patriots Superbowl the next year watching Eli get a ring while he gets none
@@MichaelRivera-bc1xs announced his retirement, bashed Eli for not being a leader, bashed Coughlin for being a difficult coach(although the guy fixed his fumbling issue), got into it with Strahan, said the Giants weren't that good, all for them to win a super Bowl the year after he retires against the undefeated Pats.
Bottom line is Ben never should have went to the radio to vent about Brown and Brown never should have responded or even acknowledged it publicly. Both sides were in the wrong at one point or another. Media didn't do either any favors either.
😒 Do I have to be the one that points you in the direction of reality? 😓 If the media didnt give Ben a platform to blast his voice over, it wouldnt have caused countless teammates throughout Ben's time to get upset at him, because most men, if kept "in house", work through issues, especially with teammates/coworkers. The flipside obviously being what's transpired instead, numerous people from the organization publicly voicing backlash towards Ben's public comments. So yes, the media has been involved. But before the media "can be blamed", I'll say these two things: 1.) If you're Ben, if you want to motivate a teammate, talk to them directly as a person, not being an ass by airing your personal laundry publicly. 2.) If you're AB (or Mr Holmes, Mr Ward, etc), and you're wanting to keep a relationship working, hash it out instead of lash it out. In other words, be the bigger man, not the bigger baby. Neither side is "justified". Though they've both excused it in thier own heads that "they are". If I were either of thier fathers, I'd be ashamed of myself for not raising them to be better people. What this entire beef is about is ego. Egos dont win championships... ...idiots.
@@RAW_Reality If Ben wants to publicly throw teammates under the bus (and he has somewhat of a history of doing so), that's on Ben, not the media. The media's job is to figure out what's going on and do stories about it, not to act as the PR wing for any league or team. If anything, some of the media outlets and personalities are TOO obliging, so as to protect their access. Is AB a bit of a diva? Yeah. Does Ben have a history of taking credit for successes and trying to shift the blame for failures? Yeah. I remember when Ben used to throw his O-line under the bus and blame them for all of the sacks he took. Truth is, at least half of those sacks were a result of Ben holding onto the ball for too long trying to make a play. When it worked out, Ben was happy to take the credit for turning what seemed like a dead play into a big gain. When it resulted in a sack, well, his O-line needed to step up their game.
@@stanklepoot I'm unsure as to whether you're disagreeing with what I said or merely adding your take on to it, but regarding the Ben/Media issue, my point is simply this: Media = Access. Without the access, Ben inherently would be more likely to have to handle personal issues (such as all the complaints about teammates) in team facilities and/or directly with said teammates. Facilitating Ben does not excuse him for his actions, but the media's involvement/influence in the situation only worsens things. AKA, they're also to blame. That's all my original statement was, saying Ben was to blame for himself, but the media not helping anything by being involved. I think any rational person would much rather be called out 1v1 than what headlines are results of it.
@@RAW_Reality Well, if we're talking about the 'direction of reality,' media is going to exist and always provide access to those in a public spotlight and controversy. If a major outlet doesn't get in on it, somebody, literally anybody will. Big media (which is not some single entity) chooses who it gives access to based on who they think we will respond the most to in terms of viewership/attention. Sure, we can blame cameras, radio, and this modern society of sharing information. If Ben calls out AB 1 on 1 but someone finds out and airs it out, that's a little different because that conversation was not intended for the public. Going on your own personal radio show and airing this stuff though? Ben provided his own access.
That didn't take yinz long haha. Hell you could've done a whole series of beef episodes with Antonio Brown. Coming next fall Beef between Antonio Brown and Jon Gruden
I bet Tom Brady goes to Tampa Bay, Antonio Brown follows, Gronk comes out of retirement to join them. Bell joins the Chiefs after a little while with the Jets. Tampa Bay vs Cheifs in the Super Bowl. AB wins a Super Bowl and Steelers fans are crying. Just a guess
Mason McGovern lol facts, I’m a ravens fan but AB is the most elite receiver Brady has ever had. And he’s won with short white guys so yeaaaaa I’m hoping there’s even a chance but not sure
Max Rothgaber Hopefully the patriots get him in check, cause they won’t deal with his bullshit. It’s either he stops acting like a 2 year old or he’s out the door
@@SidandGeno-k6k he got a ring though. Most people would prefer 15 Mil, but an athlete with their whole life in football, maybe you want a ring before you retire. He has plenty of money already.
Now we let Tom Brady have: Julian Edelman Josh Gordon Demaryius Thomas Antonio Brown and possibly Gronk if he comes out of retirement. Great work everyone.
Seeing AB described as “Canton-bound” 4 years ago makes me sad, because he very well could have been if everything that’s happened since it was posted didn’t happen.
Everything that just happened with brown and the bucs now makes me interested to see what else wasn’t ever reported on. It seems like Ben had more power in the organization and chose to flex it but at the same time Antonio brown reacted out of selfishness rather than justice in his response to certain situations. I’m sure he is a very impulsive character in all that he does and managing those impulses is a lot more challenging than one may realize. I also have impulsive behavioral issues, especially with money, and it’s very difficult to admit to yourself you have a problem because it’s impossible to fix alone. Impossible. Even though I’m a Cincinnati fan and AB torched my team for years I do wish him the best and hope he receives the proper guidance out the depths he has created for himself.
That's true.. I'll be honest, halfway through the video I forgot I was watching a beef video and thought it was just about AB's toxicity in general lol
AB learned how to treat women, sell out team mates, show up late for meetings, and "lead" from Ben. Unfortunately, those Big Ben leadership qualities aren't valued by other teams.
