Would be nice to see more deep coverage highlights. But AJ will be at the very least a starter. He seems to have a decent feel in pass coverage from what I’ve seen, good run defense, very strong and good on the blitz, good tackling and pursuit, and is a very hard hitter and always looking to cause a fumble. He seems to be struggling a little bit when it comes to normal, standard tackles but not bad by any means
When I first watched his tape I viewed him as a big nickel with primarily zone and spy responsibilities. Realistically with his downhill diagnosing and tackling skill set why not just convert him to a LB? He basically does that already as a Box Safety, but I think with his size and movement he could be a really nice true LB.
I really like him as a prospect but he’s way too small for safety. His height is perfect as a counter for rams who are putting tall receivers in the slot. He’s also a great run defender. Think Mike Hilton on stilts.

Everybody has a strength somewhere. Jags really needed someone to be in the box badly for 3rd downs especially. He fits that bill to a T. Guy is long, but he tackles really well.
