Long and fluid, and you can tell he really understands what’s going on out there. Imagine how many pics he’ll get at the next level once he actually learns how to get his head around w the ball in the air. Best cb in the draft imo, teams are gonna beat themselves up in the future for letting him fall so low
Great highlight! I love how you not only included the Arizona int that they called out of bounds, but you also included the pbu’s! Great footage! BEST DB IN THE NATION!
Welcome to Washington . They talk about his weight but he’s a more willing tackler then guys that’s bigger then him 😂trevon diggs doesn’t tackle at all . This guy has elite ball skills you can’t teach
Just in these few highlights the thing that worries me most about him is in press man he doesn't jam well and gets beat off the line too easily. His speed and being around the ball is good.
He gets beat off the line a ton. But if he improves that aspect of his game he is athletic enough to be a great corner, and his ball skills and instincts are great.
I love his skill set so much. Great ball skills and knows how to stay on the hip of the receiver just like Joey Porter Jr or Christian Gonzales but Emmanuel is different. Hell Sauce Gardner is lanky so that's no issues.
@Matthew Mcwilliams Those Legs 🦵 lol. Looks like they will break any second. He needs to put on weight and Muscle or he will get pushed around in the NFL.
He looks good but seem to also look like he could be beaten deep. He sits back deep but closes great to anything as run/screen. If in man to man could miss fire and get beat deep. Could be scheme reason for sitting so far back and not fear of being to close and getting outran deep. Good hands/ball awareness
And yet he gets drafted before any other cb in the league! commanders just stole the best cb in the draft this kids gunna be a lockdown for sure. Look what they done with Kamren Curl and hes now a monster! They also picked him up in the 7th rd. Cant wait to see how this kid looks with some nfl development coming his way.
Just look who he gets a pick-six on with the first highlight! 👀 I’m pretty sure we’re gonna get a CB at #16. Christian Gonzalez, Joey Porter, Jr. and Devon Witherspoon are the top-3. Then, there is Deonte Banks, Jaylon Jones, Clark Phillips III Kelee Ringo, and Cam Smith. Emmanuel Forbes might be the best ball-hawk of them all. Six career pick-sixes is nothing to sleep on. Three pick-sixes were from last season. Could go late in the first or early second round.
@@ricks03210 I believe THAT depends on which OT is there. I believe Paris Johnson will be gone. I believe Peter Skoronski will, too. Maybe, Broderick Jones will be there, too.
Well, we have meetings set up with Darnell Wright, Dawan Jones, and the kid from BYU, among other OTs....so maybe we're going with one of them. I'll be good with either route we choose to go.
@@ricks03210 Darnell Wright is the kid from Tennessee. You might be right! Since the CB class is so deep, if Christian Gonzalez and Devon Witherspoon are gone, trade down is possible. Maybe, Get one of the kids mentioned. With the CB class, as deep as it is there will be some that will slide to round 2. Get one, then.
If steelers go oline in the first and Forbes falls to the second day we should take him. He’s more developed and a better playmaker than joey porter and at 185 pounds he won’t get bullied like porter will in the nfl
@@chaseboudreaux5514 Ik, more pick sixes than any one in history. Literally ever. Most interceptions this year, and will probably be the first corner drafted.
Detroit Lions needs to take Forbes in the 2nd round. He is a project though: they need to put him straight in the weight room along with a nutritionist for 6 months where he can build his body up to NFL size and weight and get used to the seed of the pro game. By 2024 he will be a 200 lb human rocket with the body to match his elite speed and ball hawk skills
Good long speed, but not quick enough imo. Long strider with weak lower body. Really good awareness, but many of his Int's were just about right place right time as opposed to great D. Needs to get much stronger in his legs; at the pro level you need to be explosive.
@@mohshighlights9785 ... ok , probably one of them no. Effort fast looking guys. Cause he dont look 4.3 on this tape. How his 40ty look, was he a smooth easy looking guy, or it was some hard effort 4.3. Scary if he's a look easy guy.
@@mohshighlights9785 .... woah, just saw it, wow , no wonder I thought he look slow, he's like a long leg impala. Geeez hes got a ostrich stride. He covering ground.
Idk if he falls to 24 but if he does then the vikings need to be taking him. Bona-fide playmaker. My only comfort in not getting him would be that there are a lot of potential CB1's that will be on the board by 24.
Nobody’s talking about him, like Christian Gonzalez, Joey Porter, Jr. and Devon Witherspoon. There’s some others I like, such as Deonte Banks, Kelee Ringo and Cam Smith. Emmanuel Forbes might be the best ball-hawk of them ALL. Most likely, the top-three will be gone. I’ll take Forbes at #16 with no problem.
@@matthewmcwilliams6500 yea I made that comment without looking at his draft profile. Experts are projecting him to go late 1st or early 2nd. Browns won't be able to get him.
He’s good, what he really needs to do though, he should try and get a bit bigger and get better coverage, because most of his ints were from underthrows and drops.
I don’t love his press…against NFL size and speed, I see people blowing past him. He’s got recovery speed and ball skills n is a willing tackler. He needs to add size.
