Mike Tyson has gone on record saying he was high in many of his fights. Even fighters from the 1800's would drink and smoke in between rounds...and they were fighting many more rounds per fight at a much higher rate.

In my opinion, if you train hard and you spar hard then having a little joint to end the day won’t hurt you, if anything it will relax your muscles and help slightly with recovery, however, smoking before training is not something I think will help

A few things - I can kind of guess what other views you would generally have from your reply and a common theme with ppl like yourself is that your always referring to the outlier ppl/scenarios lets be honest and deal with 99% first and admit their reason for consumption... Next, there are plenty of successful athlete's that consume recreational drugs but that still doesn't make it right, De La Hoya was a multiple time World Champion with Cocaine addiction, does that justify Cocaine?
