Antonio Vivaldi: Concerto for 2 Violins and Strings in A minor, Op. 3, No. 8 

It's funny that this concert had about 50 listeners in the hall, but now it has over 23 000 listeners all over the world! :)

Vivaldi is Amazing! These two ladies delivered it with perfection and with such expression!

I've been returning to listen to this performance of the A minor for two years, these two young ladies really excelled that night, I hope their careers are full of unforgettable evenings like this was.

Sorry for stating the obvious but: Vivaldi was a genius.

Ah damn, the memories, I used to play in a duo with a girl around 9 years ago. I quit the violin after playing it for a decade or so, but I'm finally getting back into it

One of the reasons I love baroque music so much is because it's somewhat like the instruments, notes or musicians dancing. This video shows it greatly as it focuses on the two violinists whose bows move at times in tendem and sometimes independently.

I really really like this rendition! The young lady fiddlers are "expressive" without being "romantic"... "plain and straightforward" but not "dull and simple"... "lovely" not "gaudy"... "impressive" not "boastful"... "sensual" not "sensational", etc... It's my opinion that this is a truly great Baroque-styled performance from our musical friends in Estonia! Good job sisters!

That was absolutely spectacular! What wonderful players those two young girls are! And I love in the last movement there is a rapid solo passage for both players and after it they grinned at one another because they played it perfectly!

Surprised so few people cite Vivaldi as (one of) their favourite composers. Given too little credit I think. Delving below the surface reveals some great pieces barely any "ordinary" people would know or recognize. And Vivaldi has many of these. What a wondrous performance by those two ladies.

Andrew Nicol I find this about my favourite piece of classical music and can recall being lucky enough to have sat behind our school orchestra touring Scandinavia as brother and sister Elizabeth and James Shenton played this while tears rolled down my cheeks. I wonder where they are now!
