As my teacher used to say: "Scrub a Dub" It's so true that if you aren't on fire listening to a Vivaldi concerto then something's wrong with you. I just love their energy and comraderie.
People like Antonio Vivaldi should be born to be immortal, I just get frustrated that not all his music was found, I just can't accept that; I really like to know what else music he wrote that we should be fascinated with. As I listen to every note, my brain is full with questions of what he was feeling the moment he was writing them. I just wish I was right there observing him while writing his music.
The music by Bach gives me a headache, but the music by the composer Vivaldi puts me into a state of bliss. Bach plagiarized the works of other Baroque composers, so I do not think he is the greatest.
My Dears... On reading all the observations (and lamentations) of all, I think it pertinent to remember that Baroque art in general (not only the art of Vivaldi, or musical art, but also the art of painting, sculpture, I noticed that there was a real obsessions to fill every possible space with details. Thus eighths, fuses, semi-fuses, and even a certain saturation in arrangements are quite common. There is the great difference of Vivaldi for the majority of the other composers; His arrangements were very simple, but the melodies were extremely emotional and touching! And do not you think this comment comes from me; Whoever said this was actually a certain German citizen contemporary with Vivaldi called Johann Sebastian Bach! (Who was a fan of Vivaldi) Once he even commented that he did not understand how a simple song like Vivaldi's was so intense and attractive ... Maybe it's because he's more concerned with thrill than looking like a "treatise on Theory Musical "
absolutely amazing. I like that they didn't try to change it so much and add in unnecessary sounds/solo parts. Vivaldi made his music perfect, and this did him justice.
Igor es es el director, que música tan bella felicidades, llena el cerebro de paz, gracias por subir. hermoso el corazón de Vivaldi estaba lleno de inspiración.
Such skill, musical brilliance and beauty can only bring us to our higher self. Unlike pop music of today. This is the most exquisite thing mankind has produced. So many children are deprived of the opportunity to taste this vital dimension.
Grande esecuzione tradizionale e conservatrice di quei tesori interpretativi che la filologia dilagante tende ad annientare. Fortunatamente questi musicisti sono legati alla tradizione della vecchia scuola. BRAVISSIMI!!!
Vivaldi has done this another time .... he has surprised me .... I never had heart this composition, but his talent is evident for me .... Vivaldi is not a minor Baroque Composer, I say this because many experts think that Vivaldi is not enought to Bach, for exemple, I'm not so sure am I?..
+joanjv Nobody gets very close to Bach. But, Vivaldi has his own signature that autographs across your heart! I can listen to Vivaldi all day long; Bach ... not so sure.
I actually like when people clap between movements. To me, that shows that there are people present that aren't familiar with the formalities of attending the music, but nonetheless appreciate it enough to applaud. Many that attend gatherings for music like this go only to be seen by others in their class or to say they are cultured. Concert halls become way too stuffy because of this. So it's refreshing when someone is attending their first performance and claps after a movement because of pure joy rather than someone clapping at the end of a piece not because of joy, but because of selfish reasons.
Great video, absolutely fabulous. I love to watch this on my large screen video. Would have been happy if the production would have been in HD. Having said that, it is still a fantastic video, I simply love it.
