@1Flyingfist
@1Flyingfist 6 лет назад
Maybe it was a windy day and it didn't need to go as fast into the headwind. 🤔 I've noticed that happens when I'm going on holiday. On calm days, the plane goes really fast on takeoff. Windier days, not so fast. 🤔 I might be completely wrong though. 😶
@someguy4915
@someguy4915 6 лет назад
+1Flyingfist That's why aircraft do measure airspeed not actual speed relative to ground. In theory, with enough wind an aircraft could be flying fast enough to sustain flight but relative to ground hover in one place.

why do some still envy Russians this plane. It is the largest and heaviest plane on the planet and it flys. It is also very fuel efficient (compare to the cargo it can hold) fast and reliable. It is not true that Russians planes are not well done or that they are not safe in fact Russian things are wery reliable and efficient but it is true that Russians don't consider maintenance and safety as must but rather that maybe. This is the only plane that was made so it is unike.

Made in ussr by people of all soviet union. Wings were made in Kazakistan The plane was created by a russian engineer. P.V. Balabuev is often mistakenly indicated by the chief designer. Balabuev was the general designer of the whole design bureau in 1984-2005. And V. I. Tolmachev (russian) was appointed by the decree of the USSR Council of Ministers as the chief designer and project manager.

I really don't like that. An A320 looks like it could fly safely forever, but this Antonov looks like it gets airborne just to prove point but might snap at any second. I would be shitting myself every second until I was back on the ground in that thing.
