I'm so pleased this video is still on this site, it was one of the first videos I ever watched back in 2006 and I used to absolutely geek out to this and other aeronautical videos, singing along to Dover's Let Me Out. I miss that song, it was so perfectly cut to match the take-off

Just imagine if they used this fucking beast of a plane, in commercial use, like: Emirates, or Virgin Atlantic.... It would probably hold 1,000 passengers plus, with room for an on board casino and bar...

This was my favourite video when I was 3yrs old and I can remember watching this everyday.

I saw this video in 2010 when I was searching about Antonov. I remember many people complaining about soundtrack and I don't know why.

I didn't hit mute, I've hit back to search for other video of this beautiful plane.

I started watching this video when I was 3 year old and now I am gonna turn 15 . I love this plane and the song . Watching this video always reminds me of my childhood. Sadly this plane is no more alive

That depends if passengers are in body bags or in cremated form. AN 225 could transport roughly 20 000 of former and up to 5 000 000 of latter in its cargo bay. Very efficient. Not that it will ever be needed for that role, let's hope AN 225 is a Soviet-built Strategic Transport Plane. It means CARGO. Largest cargo plane ever. It was designed to transport a Soviet space shuttle on its back. It has a (very much living) crew of 6. Those things with lots of pages, - they're called: books

Per me' è l' aereo più spettacolare al mondo. Ed anche più bello oltre che sicuramente affidabile ed incredibilmente capiente. Ricordo che, una decina di anni fa', la nostra Ansaldo, per trasportare delle enormi turbine oltre oceano, dovette necessariamente ricorrere a quell' aereo.
