Прям таки гордость берёт за АН 2.Я на нём раз пять летал,это не забываемо.Случай из жизни: В шестидесятые не очень было хорошо с дорогами.Мы с отцом,матерью,братом и сестрой,я самый старший,поехали из Москвы погостить в Орловскую область село Корсаково.Нас довез автобус до населённого пункта Липицы,далее автобус тогда не ходил.До села Корсаково оставалось 25 километров,на чём хочешь на том и добирайся,хоть пешком иди.Так мы стояли долго,в надежде поймать попутку,но никого не было.Вдруг отец увидел не подалёку стоит самолёт тот самый АН 2.Они там обрабатывали поля.Отец объяснил ситуацию.Лётчик попросил у своего напарника маленькую карту,посмотрел в неё и сказал отцу, давай три рубля.Так нас подвезли до села Корсаково.У нас там был грунтовый аэродром для таких самолётов.Я был тогда подростком,и когда рассказывал многие не верили.Слава тебе КУКУРУЗНИК !!!
Я на таком в 1965 году летал из Смоленска в деревню Монастырщина...да, тогда, в СССР в деревню летали самолёты, как сейчас помню...билет стоил 1 рубль.
Кукурузник самолёт легенда у нас в ХМАО в Тюменской области до сих пор такие старечки в строю , летают чаще особенно зимой когда в тундре болота замерзают в отдалённые населённые пункты могут садиться на снег , там где нефтяные месторождения.
Лучший самолет в мире! Трудяга. Безотказность,безопастность,удобство пилотирования. Возможность посвдки на неподготовленное ВПП. И ощущение полета на этом самолете неперадаваемое. разве что планер может соперниичать.
This thing has awesome STOL capability! Oldie but goodie, no wonder so many still fly. Did any one else notice it has air brakes just like in a truck? Amazing!!

Great aircraft. Bought back memories of a test flight I was on. N22AN out of Fairoaks (UK) in 1975. I think the hissing sound in the last part of the video was from the braking system.

What a beautiful plane.! The best of its kind for about 40 years. Still a "Keeper".. I once saw a field fill of these in Odessa, Ukraine. They were covered with snow and looked like ivory. A bit pricey to keep up but an economical filly to purchase. A pity that my equilibrium is so unpredictable Then there is the question of my sanity..
Is that the standard Shvetsov ASh-62IR 9-cylinder supercharged radial engine? I have never seen one spin up that fast. They have an inertial starter that takes for ever to wind.

The best Russian airplane ever made! I would like to see Cessna or another US company produce a similar plane. It would be great for scheduled feeder or city-to-city service out of really small, out-of-the-way airports all over the US.

It is a beautiful and very foregiving plane. I had a pleasure to fly in AN-2 on several occasions as a passanger along with the sky divers. I wonder if there are any AN-2s in service today?
