*Padmavat vs Antony & Cleopatra* *Killing the guest is dishonourable* Sextus Pompey refused to kill the triumvirs in the party whereas Shahid Kapoor refused to kill Ranveer Singh when he comes to Chittor as a guest. *Ambition to take over the throne* Octavius Caesar defeated his rival Sextus Pompey whereas Ranveer Singh killed Aditi Rao's father and declared himself as the Sultan. *Battle to Claim* Ranveer Singh attacked the kingdom to claim Deepika Padukone as Octavius Caesar battled against Cleopatra to own her. *Suicide at the climax* Inorder to avoid being captured and to protect their honour, the women in Padmavat performed mass suicide along with Deepika Padukone. Here too in Antony & Cleopatra, Cleopatra committed suicide along with her servants with the prospect of loosing her kingdom. *Deepika Padukone vs Cleopatra* Deepika, princess of Sinhala was praised as deity whereas Cleopatra, the queen of Egypt was portrayed as a whore.
