Hey Kate. I've watched all 4 of your trip videos now, and have absolutely loved them all. I hope you give yourself the credit you deserve for doing this in spite of your anxiety. I 100% understand what you said about being nervous about going into that cafe. I've worried about the ordering protocol at every new place I've gone into for the first time - to the point where I've eaten at one restaurant for the duration of my holiday, just so I have one less thing to worry about. I've come to learn though that anxiety - while feeding us with lots of unhelpful thoughts - also prevents us from thinking in a way that helps us. The moment we step into the unknown, it starts to become the known, and the anxiety fades. Hope you're doing well 🐚🐚🐚

You talk about such important issues that many people struggle with, and even though the topics are often "heavy", you radiate such warmth and kindness in your videos! Hello! I too have been alone for so long now and I can truly relate to all the topics you’ve discussed in this video. The last time I tried to be social, as far as I can remember it was just me being social and I remember being the only one to trying to be talkative, contributing to the conversation etc. The girl that I went out with didn’t really talk that much (she was on her phone, surprise surprise). I didn’t say anything (but I probably should have) and since this attempt I haven’t tried going out with anyone (3-4 years it’s been since then). Most people are just not worth my time, I feel. But on the other hand I feel like I have missed, miss and will miss a lot by not interacting or putting myself out there. It’s a difficult and weird situation, having difficulties by not having been socialised for so many years now. And there are so many many many things that I could write but it would literally take all day. Thanks for having the courage to talk and be expressive about these difficulties that you’re facing. I hope one day we all get to be free from the anxiety, free from the fear, free from discouragement, negative thoughts and so on and on.
Oh I'm so sorry to hear that, it sounds truly awful for you. I think finding the right people to socialise with can be such a huge benefit, like you just get on instantly. But so difficult to find especially with anxiety weighing you down. I heard a quote today that said "the day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit" and I think it's a good reminder to have... because sometimes we try and it doesn't work out, but it doesn't mean it won't eventually.Anyway, thank you for sharing and being vulnerable 🧡 sending big hugs 🧡
