Your video has really helped me . I just went down to 2.5 from 5 and last night I had a panic attack in my sleep. I was ok for a few months without any symptoms. I was just thinking I needed to go back up . I will wait a few months before I make that decision.
Glad to see you again Aaron, and also glad to see that the beard is looking superb, well done for going long again, it does look good, so keep it growing.
This is so true. I'm on zoloft for the past 5 months and I recently had a period of two weeks where I thought I had to increase. I waited it out for another week and it settled.
I’m glad your doing well!! I started buspar for my panic attacks and therapy the last three months and have been so much more happier. Sadly my partner left me during my meditation process because they stated they couldn’t be with someone who was broken. But I hope to find someone who one day understands.
Val hope you are doing well! My Dr wants me to start Buspar for genaralized anxiety. Do you feel it helps? Any bad side effects? Thank you God Bless you
@@michaelthau1007 Hey Michael, I hope you feel well today. I have been on buspar for 6 months now and I can say that it definitely has reduced my anxiety symptoms (daily panic attacks) by 95 percent. Any panic attack I have had as been very short and way less intense! I also did do talk therapy and that has helped me re introduce coping and soothing meditations for the racing thoughts, and hyper fixation. I would say I had some dizziness the first two weeks but quickly disappeared after that. I also recommend starting at a low dose of 5mg and increasing slowly. I started that way and was able to find the right mgs for me (7.5 twice a day). I hope they work for you! Keep me updated and reach out anytime if you want support! I’m more than happy to help! 😁
Aaron where you at baby? I just had a setback and experiencing anxiety again, I’m more aware of what’s happening now though and feel like I’m dealing with it better. Your channel always helps man!! Hope you’re good bro!
Hey at what dose u had your setback? I have a setback right now, just dont know if i have to up my dose or wait till it levels out. Feels like i have the side effects off the medicine back. I was on 5mg for 6 months and at 7.5mg for 8 months now.
Well done mate, thank you for your videos they are great and helpful throughout the process, I will say try to take sertraline here in the UK or Zoloft elsewhere in the morning as I had terrible insomnia for the first couple of days.
Thanks Aaron you helped me take the plunge to reduce my 5mg dose back to 2.5mg as 5mg was too high for me and the side effects were cruel .. I feel way better now .. bless
Hi, when you switched to 2.5 mgs does that give you enough anxiety relief? Thinking of doing that myself. I was at 10 mgs but gained a lot of weight. I've been off of Lexapro since May but am struggling again recently with my anxiety. Was thinking of just trying 2.5 mgs and seeing if that would give me enough relief but no weight gain. Just hesitant to jump in again but having a lot of anxiety so thought I'd ask about your level of anxiety relief at 2.5 mgs. Thanks!
I take mine at night for the initial side effects. But if you are having problems throughout the day. Id slow down on caffeine and sugars and know that will eventually go away.
Hey Aaron, enjoying the vids very uplifting and helpful. I am suffering from very mild depression it happens during the winter months I began to notice that the things I once enjoyed become more of a chore and my motivation and ambition just dropped. Its like someone turned down something in my brain essentially, I got subscribed lexo and of course im hesitant to get into it because of the long term effects. Will this completely rewire my brain? Will it go back to normal after im finished with it? Have you experience trying to get off it and staying off it?
I used Lexapro during my anxiety period and it helped eliminate it but switched to Buspar after 5 months because while it helped immensely taking away the fear, worry and the sleepless nights, I did experience sexual side effects, emotional blunting and had a few memory issues! So my psychiatrist switching me to Buspar eliminated those effects and I am now med free going the natural route, with calming teas and vitamins, also I suggest you try, if you haven't, light therapy,it has enhanced my mood especially during these dark and cold winter months! Now everyone is different so just because I had those side effects doesn't mean you will but it does the job, you just have to give it some time to work!Hope this helps!
Lexapro didn’t seem to work for me. they recently switched me to Zoloft… only about 5 days on but do “feel” a little different… how do you know when any of these things work.. so many videos out there that are scary regarding side effects.. I do take mine at night.. sleeping has been a hit or miss.. love the videos and the beard
You won't really have a good idea if it's the right meds for you for another couple weeks. It's a pain to find the right meds and dosage. But stay with it and stay consistent. You will notice a levity to life and will realize you aren't stressing about certain things that used to spike your anxiety.
@@just1_millyboo632 No problem, I also have 3 daugthers and I use daily 40 mg citalopram. I did 3 attempts to stop with it. It just got worse. So better with medicine and happiness than suffering without it. Salutations from Netherlands.
My question., When you have those "setbacks" does your mind start to wonder?. I'm on 20mg Lexapro and I felt great and happy. I have a weird down time right now and my psychiatrist recommended switching meds, but I really like the way it has made me feel?.
