Hi Sheila. I don’t know if your area has a Habitat for Humanity Store, but they have beautiful used solid wood furniture at very reasonable prices. Made extremely better than the furniture in stores today;). 🤔

Hi Sheila, I a few months ago to take care of my Dad. I too need a dresser and haven't found what I like yet, but I know I will.😊 God will work it all out. Don't overthink it. If your family knows you just moved, they will understand. You probably want your space to look a certain way & it will, give yourself time.🙏❤️🏡🍂🍁

I can relate to this feeling. Self care is vital so be sure to take deep breaths and rest. If you can take a day or even 1 hour off work, dedicate that time to home organization. Make a list- write the part of your home that bothers you the most at #1 and just go from there. PRAY Breathe rest repeat. God's got you😊

Well my dear Shelia as long as I have known you it is a fact that you are a person of organization and creativity when it comes to your castle😅! So, you already know what you need to do. You have to believe in yourself and give yourself some grace. I’m using the Serenity prayer more often, accepting what I can’t change. My daughter is getting ready for a move and it’s not going as we expected but I’m choosing not to stress because it will affect my health. And stress isn’t good for us! Count your blessings. Breath. Let go and let God😜. In time things will all come together 😇

Awe Sheila it will get better. You’re dealing with some serious adjustment shock, lots of changes in a short span of time, and you have not been able to establish a routine which is what you need to give some familiarity and a sense of security in this time. It’s ok to feel this way, you left a life you adored and loved with a community you adored and loved and are trying to adapt. Plus this apartment move may be a trigger for you leaving TX. I think what you’re feeling is perfectly natural. We are resilient but that doesn’t mean our flesh doesn’t struggle with adjusting. ❤❤ it is ok to not be ok you got this❤❤ 🏠

🤔🤔 Sometimes we just need to process until we get back to an even keel that allows us to quiet our spirit and find a place where are thoughts aren't rushed and our minds become calm. Once you restore yourself to a sense of inner peace youll be able to untangle all the knots and work things out. I always watch to the end …I ‘like’ your videos BEFORE I watch them because as you say I already know the love you feel for us…I already know I’m going to love your videos! I just don’t comment. FYI as I get older I find that I have to reevaluate how I’m going to tackle a project and know that I can’t get it done as fast as I used to BUT I can still get it done! 🤔

Take one room at a time each day and only give each room 20 to 30 mins. set your timer, once that time is up you are finish for that day, if it's not completed, continue the next, but do not start another room. until one is completed. That's my take on cleaning my home.

I certainly can relate to how you are feeling. Can your family change their plans and come in November? I’m all about making things easier for myself. You and I are so similar. We have a picture in our minds of how we want things. If it doesn’t work out that way and fast! We get crazy🤣I totally get it. Just do a little bit every day, or every other day! I know how you feel, we sold our home and now we are in a rental, and I can’t seem to get the feeling of being at home. I can’t really decorate and do things that I would normally do if it was my home because it’s not our home. I’m grateful to have a place to live, but it just doesn’t feel like it’s home. I know it’s only for 10 more months but……. I don’t want to seem ungrateful because there are people who are homeless and here I am with a beautiful home complaining (not complaining just explaining). I pray that we both will find our way to being happy where we are trusting that we are right where God want us to be at this very moment. Father God, you know our hearts and you know that we are grateful for everything that you have blessed us with. Help us to be patient and be still while you are orchestrating this beautiful symphony that is our life. All praises and honor to you our father. Amen
