I've been looking for something like this so I can mount my A7iii to the inside of my car. I thought about getting a GoPro, but its not the same. The footage isn't the same, no depth to the image. So I'm excited to test this out. Thank a lot for making this video. Just wondering how I can make this transferable from a the suction cup to a joby, to my tripod. I don't want to always take off the transfer plate.
Hey brotha.. Thank you beautiful informational video.. I want to buy the smaller windshield mount kit.. But if I mount a cannon DSLR camera could i face it forward towards the road.. Thx Budd🎉😊..
Yes! Any camera UNDER 200 pounds is technically able to be rigged to the larger cup. But personally I’d feel more comfortable using two of the larger cups with some longer friction arms and attaching Them to the ursa so you have two points of connection just in case!
@@nobatechnology sorry man, I was being sarcastic based on your title. But you’re right, you’ll need additional mounting for a larger camera. Actually, you really ought to have it for any setup to reduce vibration.
Agreed haha sorry I didn’t catch the sarcasm. Just wanted to be helpful haha and obviously there are bigger safer and MORE EXPENSIVE rigs. But this is a pretty cool option for the price.
I was so excited to find this video, just what I was looking for. Unfortunately, there don't seem to be any Sea Sucker vacuum pumps available anymore... I'm in Canada, does anyone know where I can get one. The smaller one would be perfect.
@@nobatechnology I deleted other comment because I found all the links eventually haha I do have a question though if you don't mind: I have the ZV one and I just wanted to make sure that I have everything I need. I put these in my cart: Cine magic arm 1/4"-20 Version, 3/8" Ball head, Cine magic arm 4" extension bar (double ball head), 1 Arri pin anti-twist spacer for mini quick release plates, and 2 quick release plates like you suggested. After that I just need the suction cup, right? Thanks again for responding!
What is the phone Mount that has the orange piece on it that you used in this video? And what all pieces do I need to buy for that setup to use with my iPhone ?
Not in all scenarios, surprisingly only over speed bumps and really bad roads. Even on the free way with one suction cup I got smooth footage. And you can definitely rig up more suction cups for more points of contact :) best part is the modularity
