Sorry but this is not the scene LL nor bill was talking about. They were on the field with helmets on. This was fake punches plus ll knocked him out but it was on the field. You didn't watch Bill on drink champs? Bill was in the scene do you see Bill between them here no.
Ll hit jamie with the football helmet and it dazed him to where jamie forgot his lines and his sanity lol he felt disrespected and he punched ll in the lip ll ddnt have his helmet on either .long story short during shooting ll got ahold of Jamie's chin strap from his helmet lifted it and knocked him out
To Jamie Foxx & LL Cool J January of 2023 so happy 24th anniversary for doing Any given Sunday back in 99 aka 1999 so happy 24th anniversary to both of you crazy toxic men.
@pyro200777 I recently saw an interview w/ objective bystander & he said first take L hit him hard. Jaimie was mad & talked to Oliver, O said he would talk to L about it. L asked "did I go too strong?" O said, no, that was great give me more." So next scene L goes harder & Jaime like "WFT?" Third scene Jaime say he gonna get L, well he took his shot and L responded. Dude said, L was "extra swoll for the movie n when he hit Jaime it was over 'cuz Jaime flew across the room......
@@sowhat... yes he was, when Jamie Foxx was performing one of his shows in front of an audience he was talking about his beef with LL cool J on the set of "any given sunday" and talked about how he got him back by sneaking up on him with a punch and dipping back into his car
@ico26 I agree. Being a football player and a basketball player, i can't imagine the amount of guilt and hatred i would have for myself if my coach told me that he was ashamed to be apart of the team i was apart of. A very powerful line indeed. Did you play also?
No, it's a reference to the scene where Willie is being interviewed by the show's obvious knockoff Jim Rome character (named Jack f'in Rose, because they just had to hit us over the head with it.) Jim Rose asks Willie if he ever feels fear on the field and Willie tells Jack Rome that he knows nobody can touch him because "I've got this invisible juice, and once I turn it on, I'm gone."
@@sowhat... It's not anything real. It's Willie talking about how he gets in a zone and is able to wreak havoc on a defense. However, in this game, the o-line stopped blocking and let Willie get his ass kicked
