Just be careful and make sure that the battery adapter and battery will fit on that particular tool. I bought a Milwaukee rotary hammer and a DeWalt to Milwaukee adapter but because of the shape of the tool, it wouldn't fit. I couldn't use my DeWalt batteries with the Milwaukee rotary hammer.

Got it. The end goal is to get a few choice tools as I go. Track saw being 1, I will definitely be careful with battery stand off and what not. So far so good with all the free to me ryoby tools ive been able to gather up. Thanks for lookin out.

So Clovis. Let me get this straight. So you have kind of battery (Rigid?) and you bought battery adapters so you can run any color tool with your battery? Did I get that right? Which would leave you with one battery line and one type of charger......

Exactly. You saw ridgid to ryobi. I have ridgid to Milwaukee and adapters for makita on the way...

@@clovisprojectdiy very cool! I have seen advertisements for these adapters but have not watched anything from end-users on how effective they are. I am all DeWalt just to keep the charger type to exactly one kind. I run 20V and 60V batteries so I am a 1 1/2 battery platform guy since the 60V can work on the 20V tools. While I like other color tools and would love to cherry pick the "best" tool for an application regardless of color, having multiple chargers then multiple battery lines (and multiple batteries in each of those lines since having just one or two might not keep production moving) is a big drawback. Likely, if I decide to move in this direction, I should buy a couple yellow to (fill in the color here) and then borrow a (same color) tool to see how the yellow adapted battery works. This way I am not heavily invested in the tool only to find out the battery adapter did not live up to expectations. Thanks Clovis for a great video and idea! Love the content.

@SdS Construction when looking at different adpters for different platforms, I saw that a lot of the Dewalt adapters also claim that you can use a Milwaukee battery as well. There are so many adapters on Amazon! I even found a ridgid to bauer... didn't order it, just saying. I'm most excited about makita! There are certain tools that I can't wait to be able to link up to. Thanks for the comment dude. I'll do another one as soon as I get more in. Milwaukee should be delivered today.

Torque test Channel did some comparisons, and there is some lost power on some tools, it is nice to add a few tools. I really like my FORGE batteries. There is still no adapter that can increase the voltage to metabo HPT 36v or XGT 40v…!!😂
