Anya actually is smart. As in she’s cunning, resourceful, street smart, observant, and even manipulative rather than book smart. She’s even a good actress.

The one detail I like and its only on screen for less than 2 seconds is her hand writing when she shows the finished puzzle. Its details like that I fell don't get enough praise. But this series is great so far and this is already a good DUB cast.

Props to the animators for making Anya's handwriting look as messy as a real child's would.

Word of advice, if you’re adopting a child and the person running the orphanage says you don’t need to do paper work, call the police

I honestly don't understand how there are people that think they are sexualizing an underage girl in this. This anime is wholesome as hell. Clearly they are people that don't have loving fathers if they think that.

The fact she can spell those words is amazing..

Glad to see Alex Organ getting back into voice acting. He was the original voice of Aizawa from MHA in S1 but I heard he stepped away to focus on theatre or something. He's such a good VA.

I was a little confused about Anya's Sparkle has at 1st. But now I realize that it's just her mind reading.

Twilight even suspected her to be younger than six, and I personally believe that Anya is one or two years younger than she claims to be. She was reading his mind and likely lied to suit his needs for a six-year-old to complete his mission. Getting into early manga spoilers, it would explain why she seems so developmentally challenged compared to some of her classmates. Anya has cearly had a troubled past, and when Franky provides any info that he can find about her, it does not seems to give any hints that she escaped from a secret facility that was experimenting on her. Any details about Anya before all the experiments are probably just as much of a mystery to Twilight, including her actual date of birth. He probably did not care about things like that as he was set on creating a false background for Anya to facilitate his mission.

The Narrator sounds exactly like the voice actor for the man who gets reincarnated into Rudeus Greyrat in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless reincarnation.

Now that I think about it; mind reading if properly used might let someone learn abnormally fast. You might be able to know what something is and how it works simply by being in proximity of someone who is actively looking at the subject matter and thinking about it.

Loid’s English VA is really unpleasant… Doesn’t sound like a smooth charismatic spy it sounds like some psychotic stock broker analyzing numbers It sounds like it’s a VA that doesn’t have a very deep voice and is putting too much effort into trying to sound like they do

If you take out the inner dialogue, some guy just came into an orphanage, saw a girl saying "I'm six" and watched her do a crossword puzzle before taking her. Wouldn't potential parents at least... talk to the child before making that decision?

Anya may not be great when it comes to traditional subjects but she knows how to manipulate someone, managed to get Lloyd to give her all the answers

The way that you can switch From Japanese ( subbed) to English (dubbed) in Funimation swiftly was great without exiting leaving the show or episode and changing the seasons to check if there is a dubbed ones i hope one day you’ll adapt the Funimation classic way… 🙏🏼

Anya is much smarter than you think. She might be reading Twilight’s mind to get the answers, but she’s spelling them all on her own. A lot of those words would be hard to spell for any child her age

I have this habit of switching from one provider to another every month so that I won't be subscribed to so many apps at one time, but I'll subscribe towards another month just so that I can watch this show, and to support your merger in hopes for the complete dubbed list from the merger eventually. You have my support.

Something I didn't realize before is that even though she got the answers from Loid, Anya would have had to have known how to spell those big words without any help in order to fake her intelligence. Anya is a very smart cookie. Plus in school she is taking classes that are advanced for a 6 year old when she's actually closer to 4 and a half or 5 at most.
