You know what I've noticed over the two seasons of Moominvalley? Snorkmaiden and Moomintroll have great chemistry as best friends but when they do their lovey-dovey betrothed couple act it's portrayed as forced and fake on purpose. They were childhood sweethearts, they clearly aren't ready for big commitments. Even the CEO of Gutsy said that their relationship is more playful in nature.
i wouldn’t say toxic really, just... not suited for romance. personally i think moomintroll and snorkmaiden work better as friends, but that’s just me. thanks a lot though!! ;;
