Thanks to those of you who appreciate the videos we put out. Can't please everyone all the time and that's part of life. I do what I love to do and that will hopefully never change. If puzzles or magic isn't your thing, that's cool too. Plenty of content out there for everyone. Have a great day!
I appreciate all your hard work and dedication you helped teach me magic and the puzzles are just a bonus I love all your content and will always support you who supports others your the man don’t sweat the haters!
After watching you solve puzzles I got more interested in it and a part of me is challenging to discover the next piece faster than you XD but anyways I like all your content and watching all these relaxes me. Keep living your life thank you for entertaining us
I dont understand the "selling out" claim. Obviously there are a lot of people that enjoy the puzzles and obviously you do as well. Cool to see both the magic side and puzzles. I actually come for the puzzles, but I still find the magic entertaining.
You are an amazing person and don't let their bad vibes keeping them down also work on your awesome videos. I have learned so much from your videos and thank you 😊 🙏
Imagine telling someone what their passion is 'supposed to be'. Unbelievable. Chris, you do you, man. Everyone with an ounce of common sense knows that you're making the content you love, and that's why it works.
LOVE THIS!! I am very disappointed you didn't do the tree of diamonds trick in an Alex Boyer accent... How could you have missed that Chris Ramsay!!!??? Stick to puzzles RamsiNOT
Puzzles can also be a "passion" lol yes you started out with magic but the puzzles have been super cool.. I personally enjoy them equally, either way am not going anywhere! Why not keep doing both
Dude, I have been watching your videos since about 50k and I have always loved your content. Of course your content will change and evolve over time. I've always felt your channel was about you, not about magic or cards or puzzles. Keep doing what you love and know that there are many of us who love your content and want to support you even when our interest isn't exactly the same as yours. Keep doing what you're doing. Much love.
@@ChrisRamsay52 your content is awesome. I love magic, but I like the puzzles you do more. There are plenty of magic tutorial channels. You are one of very few puzzle channels. The puzzles are very interesting. Plus, you dedicate so much money to the puzzles, which you obviously love to solve. You aren't a sellout, you are just sharing your passion with others. There's nothing wrong with changing your content to fit what you love to do. I couldn't imagine having the brain power to solve the puzzles you solve, even though I am very smart. What you do takes extreme dedication. It's great to see someone doing what most other people, including myself, can't, in order to share the experiences with me and other viewers. I just want to say thank you for all of the work you put into your videos. That comment that was made to you was unnecessary and does not take into account your feelings or the effort you put into your videos. Keep doing what you love.
Just going to say that I watch youtube for entertainment, and the most entertainment I get out of people enjoying the stuff they do. People like Alec Steele, Daniel Thrasher, Peter Brown, Evan and Katelyn are all fun to watch because they like what they do, and that is contagious. I love watching Chris because he clearly is into puzzles, magic, gaming, and I'm sure a lot of other things - and that always makes me happy vicariously.
Ooh, another Thrash viewer, didn't expect here. (Damn, i guess i have a bit poor choice of words, my comment looks like a passive-agressive wordplay :/ )
So is it just me or does selling out these days just mean making money for doing things you enjoy instead of what other people want you to do? I love what you do man keep it up. Also di anyone else think The Great Ramsiny looked like he appeared from Jumanji haha.
Your puzzle videos, your joy when you discover new puzzle's secrets, they always make my day. You clearly very much passionate about what you are doing with your work and youtube channel. Thank you very much!
You never ever have to explain yourself for growing, doing what you love, and making a good business out of it. I absolutely love both the puzzles and also the magic content you put out to the world. Thank you for being epic, Chris!
Love you bro! You have opened me to a whole new world of puzzles and escape rooms and I am super grateful for it! Many of these puzzles I could not afford, so I get to experience them through you :) I even now want to start a company around them. Thanks Chris!
Chris, your magic is what brought me to your channel a few years ago. It got me back into magic and opened a whole new world to me. Since joined the maliance and my local magic circle. But, YOU are the magic that has kept me coming back for all your adventures. Whether here on your main channel, binge watching big trick energy (twice), having a laugh with BoB or any of the many other digital places I find your work. Thanks for being you, that is the real magic in life.
It's been 5 year when I started following your channel. It was awesome when you was teaching magic. I learned lot of things. Thanks I respect your puzzle things. But I love your magic tutorial. Wen I watch them it's feels like I am in another world. It makes me happy. And put smile in my face.
When I was first getting into magic as a hobby years ago, I bought all my tricks at a small magic shop in the mall. The shop keeper would always remind me that, "It's only magic till you know the secret." I eventually found another hobby, and stopped doing magic. I dated a woman who had a small boy who was fascinated with magic and gave him my magic bag of tricks. I passed that little bit of advice onto him when I handed him the bag. I'm 65 now. That was 30 years ago, and I hope he is either still doing magic, or has passed the tricks on to a younger magician.
I had a Beginner's Magic kit when I was 8yr old, I don't do magic anymore, but I still love it and I watch every video you do, I even have some of your cards and puzzles..... PLEASE DO NOT STOP DOING WHAT YOU DO! Oh, and Hello from the UK 🙂
I’m glad you shifted your focus to puzzles. I loved your original content, but I’ve gotten hooked on them along with you. I think the reality is you could do just about anything and do it well.
I’m not even a big magic guy but for some reason your videos I’m hooked on. Literally you’ve made magic interesting to me even if it’s not on the level of die hard card ppl or magic ppl. I truly can appreciate decks of cards and simple magic from watching you
Hey Mr Ramsay, you are by far the most entertaining RU-vidr I am subscribed to, and I loove your content! From the cardistry tutorials, to the puzzles, to the street magic, and pretty much all that you have been putting out there! I haven't been subbed to your channel for long, but I'm already practicing the tricks from some of your easier tutorials and making slow but steady progress. I like to show my friends and coworkers some of the things I've learned from your channel and what I love most is seeing the smiles on their faces. Especially in the time we live in, bringing a smile to people's faces is such a wonderful thing. Keep up your awesome passion and work!
I found your channel looking for cardistry and have been here for all of it. Thanks to you I now have more decks of cards than I’ll ever need, had to install shelves to display my ever expanding collection of Hanyama puzzles, and have had to convince my spouse that Karakuri boxes are a sound financial investment. Be happy and do what you love. ✌️
I’ve been following you for 4 years. I may not comment much any more like I used to, but I gotta say……F THE HATERS! You do you, Chris. You will always be my favorite magician, puzzle reviewer, and everything else in those categories. Us REAL CR fans will always enjoy what you do, no matter what it is. Thank you for helping me enjoy magic and puzzles more then I ever thought I would.
I've ordered a bicycle gaff deck to do the 2 card Monte and ordered the Tree card Monte too for a few quid .Both were brilliant but simple and blew me away .Love it ! Cheers for the inspiration Chris ...
I started watching your videos when I was in high school, now I’m a barber. I remember the first time You liked one of my comments. Thanks you I learns card tricks, and cardisty. I bought bricks of your playing cards, which are great. The thing that sucks is that people who started watching yo when I did are hating on you. They want to control your life for their pleasure. The real ones will stay and the fake ones will leave. That’s just how it works. Keep doing what you love even if people hate it brother. Can’t wait for the new cards!!!
This is it Chris!! Six not too difficult, very impressive with practice, show for the aunts and uncles at a family gathering tricks/illusions. The ooo’s and aaah’s will be gratifying. The kid needed to know it was not a dream. Chris, you know how rewarding your life has been so far. You do what you do to keep pleasing your audiences.
What’s great about your channel is that when I am in the mood to watch a puzzle vid I have that option. I really appreciate the work you put out, both on RU-vid and on tv.
Your puzzle videos are the main reason I started watching! I was pleasantly surprised to see that you also did magic!! Keep doing what you love, Chris!
I don't think you're a sell out. I think you love what you do, and it shows. Keep up the great content. Puzzles included. Also, Big Trick Energy is hilarious and awesome. You deserve it.
I first found out about you solving puzzles and thought they where so cool. Then later I found you also do magic. Thought your videos are just awesome. You do awesome puzzles and awesome magic tricks. But because your videos I have been getting into those puzzles and have looked some up and looking to get. Love your videos and always will keep up the great work.
I'm so loving this video already, I'm only a few minutes in, but so far I just gotta say I absolutely love that you're completely honest and compassionate with how you answer these negative comments towards you. Also you truely don't take anything personally, which is a talent all on its own. Anyways, I appreciate all that you do. Thank you Chris!🧩🪄♥️♣️♦️♠️🪆
I will be honest i subbed for the magic, BUT the puzzles are also very interesting because i like mechanisms and clever hidden stuff, so for me the intricate puzzles with their clever mechanics is a very welcome added bonus.
Before today I had no idea that you are on TV. I found your videos recently on RU-vid and I stayed and subscribed because of your love of magic! I love the way you give authentic feedback on amateur magicians when they do something that still clearly amazes and mystifies you. I could not be more polar opposite to that person who made that comment. You have given me my awe and wonder of magic back again, for which I sincerely thank you!
I enjoy everything you put up for me to watch. I am a nutty puzzle collector...but I also a photographer...don't matter to me...keep sharing your inspiration and talents...if you don't...I will hunt you down till you get back on track!
Chris, do what you want, with passion and authenticity, that what makes your channel nice to watch. I only watch your magic and cardistry, but puzzles are absolutely fine. My favorite video by you was neither of that, it was your very impressive domino session with your insane collection of card decks! :) Congrats to you!
Your content is awesome! Seeing the mechanics behind magic tricks are amazing, and knowing the skill needed is breathtaking. As far as I'm concerned, puzzle solving is a magic of its own. You inspired me to get back into my passion of puzzle solving. Thank you.
I kinda enjoy this passive-agressive educational video 😂. I just hope Chris enjoyed making it (for all the good reasons). Chris, what ever you do I hope you do things you enjoy the most. I watch your channel not for the content but for you/your character and your contagious enthusiasm! ❤️
You my friend are very humble, you also don’t shy away from criticism but you deliver anyway to the haters and shittalkers. You’re a legendary man and anyone can take a page from your book and learn a little on how to be a decent human being 🙏🏼
I’m 35 and battling cancer. Through chemo.. through feeling like shit.. you have put so many smiles on my face. When I want to cry or need something to concentrate on and take my mind off my now… your videos do that for me. You’re wonderful and you have found your purpose. Thank you.
To be perfectly honest, the first few videos of yours that I saw, were you solving puzzles. I didn't even know you were a magician till a couple days later. For the record, I think you are a great magician. The fact that you are perfectly aware of where you need to improve, and aren't afraid to show us when you mess up, and even doing your tricks in slow motion to show us that you're just human, but also to show yourself exactly where you need to tighten up, shows less experienced magicians that HEY even more the experienced are not perfect. So they don't get too frustrated and continue to practice. I know for a fact that you are a great inspiration to many people, and from what I have gathered from your videos, you seem to be a very humble, down to earth, chill person. I mean I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. Much respect brother, keep on keepin on 🤘
I can kindof understand where that first commenter is coming from. I came to this channel many, many years ago when it was mostly just a magic channel, and i loved it. At first the puzzles didnt interest me much but ive grown to love the puzzle videos now. I had no idea how vast the puzzle world was. Of course ive always seen the small everyday puzzles at bookstores and little shops, but i had never seen any of these big elaborate puzzles Chris brings us. So yes i do love his magic, but the puzzles and everything else is also very entertaining to watch for me now. Chris in general just makes stuff fun to watch. He would be a great person to sit down with at a coffee shop and just chat with about the world. Hes a very intelligent person.
I came across you through puzzle content and because of that, I watched all your magic content. And, just a couple weeks ago, I went to The Magic Castle in Hollywood for the first time, and I instantly could tell I had a deeper appreciation for all the magic I saw there because of what I've learned from your videos. Speaking for myself, I love your magic content, your puzzle content, and everything about your vibe in general. I hope you keep on doing the awesome stuff you do.
You re the most Happy, fanny, amazing person and magical person that I ever knew. I'm seeing you like 8 years I think and I didn't regret 1 time. Keep doing that you love and I believe me and more and more will be there for you.😃🔥🇬🇷
You do you bro!..it's the puzzles that brought me here and I always enjoy them a lot!..jus in the last few weeks I discovered your tutorials so I grabbed a deck and I've been hooked..I'm a 33 year old beginner by the way!..so keep doing you man because it's been a lot of fun watching ya!..
Hey man, you used to be his favorite magician. That there says a lot. I started watching you as a puzzle solver and learned you were a magician later. Everyone lives in their own reality and it is what you focus on, positive or negative.
I still have not seen your show yet, but I love what you and the guys do. I think the puzzle thing is cool and I appreciate the magic performance and tricks I've leaned from you in the last 5 years I've been practicing magic. I got into magic at 50 years old and learned some of my best stuff from you via RU-vid. Stay strong my friend :-) !!!!
Hey Chris, You are who inspired and still inspire me to do magic everyday. When you stopped doing tutorials it was kinda sad? But I understood that it was for yourself and for the future of magic. You where and you still are my favorite RU-vidr. Keep doing what you are doing!!
I follow many talented people on RU-vid...you are the most talented. Thanks for entertaining me. Awesome intros, puzzles, magic, escape rooms, etc. Boom!
Gotta admit... I started learning card manipulation because of you and I believe the russian genius at the time and was rather disappointed when you announced you weren't going to do any more card trick reveals and instructional videos. And I sort of drifted away when you started doing puzzles only (though I did/do watch the reaction videos to other people's magic). But I wouldn't ever tell someone what they HAVE to do. Of course you do you and who knows... maybe some day I'll decide I like puzzles too. :D
You actually got me into puzzling! I LIKE watching magic, but have no desire to do it, other than a couple of neat tricks for parties, etc. But solving puzzles has been a lifelong love of mine and you resparked that interest for me. Illegitimi non carborundum.
I subscribed because of your puzzle videos. Keep doing what you’re doing. You are an amazing human! I love listening to you. I feel like I’m sitting in the room with you while I watch your videos. 🤍
It "puzzles" me that people don't see the link between puzzles and magic tricks. To me magic tricks are a type of puzzle. It was your channel that really solidified this for me. You make great content. I always look forward to it. Keep up the great work!
I'm glad you've developed that "extra layer of skin" because I actually discovered you through your puzzle videos. It's a long story but I actually tried an escape room for the first time recently with my son and brother. That lead me to puzzle boxes and ultimately to your videos. After several puzzle videos, you opened with a magic trick. That short intro lead me to your magic videos, which sparked in me an old love for magic that I had as a child. I've since purchased VOODOO, several decks of cards, magic books, etc. I think it's safe to say that I may never again had found an interest in magic if it weren't for you pursuing ALL of your passions (namely, puzzles). Never underestimate the impact that your videos may have. You may be inspiring people in ways that you never imagined. Thank you for being you. Don't stop.
Man....I've been subscribed and been watching since the beginning. I love watching everything you guys put out. Some aren't going to like change or the path you take but, there's millions that do. If you have nothing nice, kind or positive to say than keep it to yourself. Everyone at 1st works hard to give us entertainment, knowledge, wonder, fun and products that we all get to have. RAMFAM. Keep it up chris and do you. Would love a new UNUSUAL vid, find them informative. Peace
I always enjoy the variety of content on your channel & your enthusiastic attitude Chris! Forget the naysayers and just keep on doing what you do best. 👍👍🎴🎴👍👍
I love your videos Chris!! You literally make my days so much better and I love puzzles and watch your videos when I’m feeling down to have an instant laugh
I love seeing your passions expand and grow like an actual human. Keep just being you. I'm still jealous of your barber as I have yet to find a good barber shop in Colorado to assist in my beard management. Stay positive brother.
Thank you for the work and passion you put into your channel and everything you do. I enjoy watching you because you are entertaining. When that is doing magic, or a puzzle or teaching a trick I watch your channel because of you. Saying a magician doesn't deserve to be on a magic show because their youtube channel doesn't do magic just doesn't make sense. Thanks again for everything you have done over the years and keep doing what keeps you interested in doing it!
Don’t fret about that comment Chris, You help to teach the “lowly” regular people like myself & others who enjoy magic & puzzles & you ROCK BROTHA’! THANK YOU ALWAYS DUDE
thanks for ALL of your content, Chris! I appreciate the puzzles and of course the magic you share with your viewers. Hope you keep doing what you're doing. Your content keeps me out of some dark spaces in life
I first found your channel from your magic stuff, but it wasn't the content itself that made me stick around (which isn't to say the content isn't great; it is, I love both puzzles and magic), it was your passion and care that went in to every video. The intros are fantastic, and it's clear watching just how much you enjoy doing what you do. Keep it up man. I'm actually looking forward to whatever comes next, and sharing in the journey, even if that isn't puzzles or magic at all.
I, for one, love that you have more than one passion. Puzzles and magic go hand in hand for me. Puzzles are a magical experience; and magic is a puzzle to solve, so to speak. I truly appreciate that I get to experience the intricate and ornate puzzles you solve, that I’ll never be able to afford, albeit second hand. And that you still do videos on magic as well. My only constructive criticism is that maybe the simple inexpensive puzzle content is too easily accidentally viewed by people, like me, who might want to buy those puzzles. Maybe post an initial spoiler free showing/review first and then the solves in a separate linked video.
I'm with you brother. I've followed you and the crew of misfits that are your homies for quite some time. Personally, I jump from cards to dice to coins to Hanayama... As I've felt sure that a trick or puzzle has been mastered, I can approach it again months later, only to think,..Screw me, I forgot. Damnit,. I'm putting this down and just watching Chris for awhile... A.D.D. my man! 😎✌️🖤
Simply Chris… your the best ! Keep up the good work love watching you whatever it is puzzling or magic.. it’s you and your positive energy I love 🤩🤩👍🏻😎
i still watch your puzzle video because sometimes it was fun but watching you teach magic again.. makes me happy but i do appereciate all of the effort you put on your video
Chris, Your channel amungst other influences have helped rekindled my love for the Art. During Covid and the uncertainty that lock down brought, Really helped to keep me mentally on track from day to day and momentarily escape the stresses/ pressures of trying to keep a buisness afloat when no £ was coming in. Massive ❤ to you and the team ,,,, keep doing what you do👌
love it. The crayons disappear you'll want to mask the sound like this 'blah...!'. 😂 Awesome Chris! you rock man. Keep on doing what you do. I love all your work whether it's magic or puzzles it's all amazing to learn from you.
The magic and puzzles are both staples of your channel. Yes, it's been a while since you've done magic content, but all of the puzzles you've done are awesome ways to see the way your brain works. And lots of the puzzles are incredibly well done, and baffle me constantly. Keep doing whatever you feel like doing!
I haven’t finished this video yet, but I feel compelled to tell you that my 8 year-old and I love all the content that you put out. I found your videos bc of the puzzle boxes, and found that you like magic like I do (I’m not very good at it, but I love it)… please, just keep doing what you do, we love it!
I subscribed for puzzles, usually skip over magic related videos, as they are not my cup of tea. Gotta say, this particular video is very entertaining! Thank you
In the last puzzle video I was just thinkink "Look at those guys. Chris seems so happy. He is really enjoing every puzzle, even after years of dooing this. So cool." Keep doing what makes you happy. That is what make us happy when we watch you.
I absolutely love this video. The hat. The cape. The wand! I think I had this same magic set as a kid (the same tricks I mean). 9001 level nostalgia level. I will be showing this video to my son as soon as he’s ready to like some magic.
Very Cool. I like both the puzzle-solving, and the magic tutorials. I did miss the magic tutorials, but that is because I started your channel (a few months ago) from the beginning... and as I have been watching and practicing different things you have taught while binging your channel, you shifted to puzzles. Which, while still super dope to watch, I felt like I did just crave some more magic tutorial mind candy. Keep (both) going if you can, or at least try to revisit magic from time to time. It is a great palette cleanser. But thank you, regardless.
I originally found the channel when it was around magic (same with my brother. Both came across your channel separately and are both subbed) but after seeing your character more from videos I stuck around for all content. I've enjoyed your magic review videos, your magic teaching videos, your puzzle solving (or failing which is equally enjoyable) and your escape room videos you do with friends and each one has entertained my ADHD ridden brain everytime. Keep it doing as you do, and you don't need me to say it as I'm very sure you've figured this much out but, keeping doing what you do cause your passion for them is why most of us are here.
