Most Malays prefer to eat rice for lunch, not so much noodles. That's why you saw a lot of people eating rice. But it's ok to eat the soup with noodles too.

I like that they are always honest with their review/feeling. Of course not everything suits everyone's liking. If it tastes salty, then yes it is salty (at least to them). At least if we have visitor from Japan, we know how to prepare food for them (like making it less salty).

Used to frequent this place when i was working at cheras around 2014. I always came early to avoid the lunch crowd. The soup was delicious and the price was cheap. Glad to know they are still around.

normally can choose single order just like 1)mee, 2)mee hoon, 3)kuey teow, or you can also order by combo just like 1)mee campur(add) mee hoon, 2) kuey teow mee 3)kuey teow mee hoon.

Try n go to malacca, after the corona matter is over, go and test asam pedas with diff fish, or chicken. Love you both n enjoy life... Ok Both of u eat the noodle soup correctly... Hi iChang ! It's great to see that you still have some content to share with us during this 'restriction of movement'. Wow, it's so cool to see that you guys would try almost any kind of dishes available whether it's Chinese, Malay, Indians and many others. Do remember that Malaysia is a multi racial country and so there are plenty choices and interesting and tasty yummy yummy delicious food to eat. It's depends on how long they cooking the 🐐and the spices being use. Yes normally a bit salty but you can counter it by adding a bit of lime juice or just plain vinegar. Yes normally they eat it with 🍚 or in noodles form. When the 14 days over, please try "Soup Torpedoes". Anyway be safe and be healthy.

yes, mostly malaysian soups are lil bit salty and so we commonly eat with rice.. if you want to reduce saltiness in the soup, u have to request a few slices of fresh potato and then put them in the soup in a few minutes before u eat.. enjoy..

My fav food!!!!! Bihun sup!!! But for me, the best bihun sup is from utara (kedah) yellow vermicelli with lots of daging and red thick sambal...aaaa heaven.. #staysafe #stayathome

That is quite a common noodle soup of Malay style we have in Malaysia and you just eat it the right way. Malay noodle soup base is usually made of beef/mutton, depending on the seller and yes, it can be a lil bit salty because the soup is heated continuosly, making it thicker time to time and all the spices including salt come to taste. Furthermore, some sellers they indeed put lots of salt to increase the tastefullness, which yeah is not that healthy but could become a norm among some street sellers. Proud to see how you both go locally when traveling in Malaysia..🥰

I think u should try to Tom yam set at any Siam restaurant in Malaysia with ikan siakap tiga rasa, kailan goreng, telur dadar dan sambal belacan. My favourite food all time 😋

Actually overall a lot of Malaysian food are more salty. Its just accustomed by locals. So when you go from place to place the salty level differs

Sup tulang is legend , normaly malay will serve this during "kenduri" time

We call this beef soup "soto lembu" and RM12 for two is quite cheap.

this is among the best beef soup in kuala lumpur. it is located in my area. not far from this restaurant there are a lot of electronics shops in jalan pasar. you can get any electronics components, spare parts and equipments

This is like one of my favorite spot to get a soup, and if i'm not mistaken they have mutton soup on thursday, any other day u can get the beef soup or the local says sup tetel daging, restoren sururi is like a hidden gem in Kuala Lumpur and not everybody knows about this place and i'm quite suprised that uguys managed to try their soup, anyways nice video iChing and u had make me hungry after watching this hahahaa

In the Middle of quarantine .. suddenly I'm hungry 😭

We like to eat spicy noodle soup. The black spicy sauce, you add little by little according to your spicy tolerance. If the soup is little bit salty, there must have rice in cube size (we call it nasi himpit). We add it until the soup less salty. Spicy always come first in malay dish.

U shud come Johor.. we eat with a condiment “sambal kicap” : black thick slighlty spicy soya sauce.. something like wasabi + sweet japanese sauce. That”ll give the noodle soup extra kick

At Japan Halal Udon, Ramen is about ¥1200.. In Malaysia only MYR 12 for two plate each MYR 6..

Hi IChang and Jimmy..if u planning to visit east coast...please drop by to Kuantan Pahang, there are many varieties food u can try over here and trust me, the taste will be different since all dishes from east states like Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang has a very unique authentic meals like nasi dagang, nasi minyak, nasi kerabu, silver catfish(ikan patin), samosa and many dessert too.....u must come and taste it..from KL it will takes roughly around 3 - 4 hrs by buses to reach Kuantan...

You guys it as good as it is. While locals, they prefer to eat rice since it can make you tummy full. The saltines, can be reduced by adding plain water. I always do that if i got the salty soup.

i think we call it a javanese soto daging (beef) in sabah and you need to go with the the big lime to give it an extra kick or excellent taste or it will be salty (without the lime)
