Hi Andreas, Im still waiting on a release that allows button assignment to toggle on and off "monitor"... Its really useful for bringing in weaker stations on sota without having to have the squelch open all the time... Essentially a one-touch open squelch and one-touch close squelch... Its also invaluable mobile for clipping stations, but it only seems to be available on the AT779UV.
@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones yep not on any other Anytone apart from the AT779… not even the ATD578… Even if you could program a button to “squelch up” and “squelch down”, they would work.
Hi, I have the AT-D878UV PLUS radio and I cant find the bluetooth firmware. Can you help me from where i can download it. On the anytone site in the file with the new firmware for the wireless there is no file for the bluetooth. Thanks in advance
Hi Andreas. Have you experimented with the record function? Do you know if there is a way to delete just one recorded file? It seems that it's only possible to delete all files and not individual files.
To put the radio into BT/APRS update mode you must press and hold the PF3 (top blue button) and PF2 (bottom side key) while powering on the radio. "UPDATE MODE For LinkBoard" will show on the display. Holding PTT and PF2 while powering on will display "UPDATE MODE" and is for updating the icons. Holding PTT and PF3 while powering on will have a blank display and LED on the top right will flash red and the radio will be in firmware update mode. Thank you for the time and effort for making these videos. I have learned a lot from them.
