there could be a problem with the cable.... i am not sure tho maybe double check if the cables are properly set in or something but the only thing i can think of is that 1) problems with the cable 2) ps5 might not be able to give a signal to that specific monitor (this might be wrong but my guess) 3) something wrong with the monitor 4) the resolution is no accurate which is making it hard to give a signal try to plug the monitor into something else like (laptop or pc) if you don't have any of these then i recommend to return the monitor and replace or just try to get some tech support from where you bought it from I hope this helped and i would love to help more but this is the limit of my knowledge 😅

Get a DVI to HDMI adapter. You should try to avoid converting analogue signals (VGA) into digital ones

yea as long as you buy the hdmi version you can get that on amazon as i’ve got this monitor with hdmi and it works fine :)

You can just get a vga to hdmi adapter, you would have to use a separate audio cord as well but it would work. Especially if you have Bluetooth speakers to connect to the ps4, you wouldn't have to worry about that.
