It does seem like this but they are winning 49% of their matches across all ranks according to aoe4world .

@@williamschubert4819 Which puts them at 10th out of 16 civs. Also worse than all of the new civs other than the Byzantines. Another thing, if you take away bronze and silver games, their win rate is very bad.

@@davecarrier2978 I know but my point is that they're not hopeless just on the lower side slightly after release.

How so? They literally have stronger armies than most. They don’t win well in 4+ players cause it’s harder to cover ground. And they can be slow. Also, civs that have dominating and powerful range counter Order of The Dragon.

when is the right time to go 2nd tc? right after getting feudal age, mine 300 stone and go tc?

@@fa-wf4um After getting resources to go feudal, there are different approaches. Against Knight civ, you may want to make a barracks, spearmen, and get spear upgrade before moving to stone. Some opponents are dangerous to leave alone. Maybe HRE is trying to go castle with no military, maybe Abbasid is setting up trade. In these cases, you might want to get a stable, produce some horsemen, then decide if you want to go for stone. If you don't care what the other guy is doing, and you just want a TC asap, then yeah, get off gold and put everybody on stone+wood as soon as the landmark is started.
