Aviation adventure trip to the AOPA Fly-In at Jack Edwards Airport at Gulf Shores, AL (KJKA) in our Vans RV9A. This was a great two night trip with lots of airplanes and great food in the Gulf Shores area.
We had dinner Friday night at Louisiana Lagniappe, lunch Saturday at LuLu's and dinner Saturday night at Cobalt's.

Man, I guess the last time I went flying was to basic training back in 2014. Really want to get back in a plane.

Thank you, I'd rather be flying than editing video!

Wow, Look at those Sunglasses on that gentleman. Those things are HUGE!!!!!! They must be some kind of specialty lens? Very nice looking RV-9 as well. Did you build it? You have that "nose dragger" in the wrong place though. Get it on the rear where it belongs on a RV!

Thanks Scott, actually Beth doesn't like them either. That may be the reason they "went missing" in Key West last week! So now I have a slightly slimmer version... We did build the RV-9 - Beth drove all 18,000 rivets and we also painted it ourselves. While I am glad I have the nose gear on the -9A, we are building a Cub for the taildragger side and are also contemplating building a Kitfox one day. Thanks for the comment!

2FlyAmerica I’ve been in Altus, OK since July. One more week of C-17 training here and I’ll be all finished! I sure miss y’all and the Raymond crew (Michelle’s Mafia).

Great video. Louisiana Lagniappe is one of my all time favorite restaurants I have not been to the one in Gulf Shores but have frequented the one in Destin many times.

413Glass not that we have heard yet. We do plan to go to the AOPA fly-in at Tullahoma, TN later this month if all goes well.
