Our channel is dedicated to aviation, travel and outdoor videos associated with our trek to travel the USA in our home-built Van's RV-9A airplane. We want to spread the word about how affordable and fun general aviation can be, especially experimental aircraft!
Boston, MA area - Here decent starter homes in areas nice enough that you don't need a gun for protection to walk your kid(s) to school are in the $Million+ dollar range. In comparison a brand new loaded Cessna 206 for $900K sounds 100% reasonable. Especially when you look at how long these planes last.
Can you buy the pole adapter too there or atleast one that would work? I have trees all around our place, mama loves her damn trees. Its going to be a challenge, I am 70 n don't do well with roofs nor stairs. Thank for your video also, as I might be making things harder than necessary. Retired 1811, too many injuries when youger.😢Thanks again sir,,, Ty
Thanks Paul, we are going to try to fly more now that the "Rona" is winding down (I hope). Let me know if ya'll have anything going on down your way and we may try to get there!
@@outcold1982 Honestly, the building of the fuselage frame was easy and enjoyable. BUT, became more that I wanted when it came time to manufacture and weld all of the little clips in place. PLUS, my wife likes to ride side by side not in tandem, so... S21!
Hello good afternoon. my name is Tony I am from Buenos Aires Argentina, I have been wanting to start a project for a long time to make a PA 18, PA 11 or a J3 and I would like to know if you can provide me with some information on how I can get the manufacturing plans for some of the models Piper's already named. I await your response, thank you very much and sorry for the inconvenience. Regards
Have you started your 9A?? Ours has all Dynon Skyview Touch equipment. Keep watching, I am planning a couple of panel building episode in the next few weeks.
Thanks for the video. I recently purchased a bore scope and have been watching any video's I can find. Very interesting looking at your engine. I have been watching "Savvy Aviation" and according to his video's your engine looks fine. Nice symetrical patterns on the exhaust valves and normal looking lead deposits. The bores show cross hatch still with no vertical scoreing. Exhaust valves look like you run slightly rich of peak. There is some marking on the valve seats but if the leakdowns were good I would not be too concerned if it was my engine. Of couse regular checks would show up any trend here. Well. Thats my novice guess anyway. I am certainly no expert but I am soaking up all the information I can get. I am hapapy for any "Real" mechanices to comment on my observations, I am after all, still learning this stuff. Again, thanks for your video.
You two make great videos! Great to see an RV'r make videos with commentary, too many have nothing but music. Great job! Beautiful plane and hopefully I'll get to meet you both someday when I get my -12 done👍
I was one of the friends taking notes on tent types... mine leaked like crazy. Love your videos. Great job editing! I like to think of Petit Jean as the F4 of events! Friends...Food...Fun...Flying.
