purchased this monitor around 2 months ago and couldn't be happier, it's amazing for pc gaming and content consumption. I have it around 40cm away from my eyes and the pixel density is perfect. I love gaming in 4K and enjoy it filling my vision in every direction, something that I didn't realise I would enjoy coming from an ultrawide ... but the vertical height is amazing!
I have an ultrawide also and would like to try this kind of monitor. In 1440p, is it still ok or not ? I would like to enjoy some games in 4k and others in 1440p to keep an high framerate thanks (and sorry for my english)
@@RACAPE the panel is a BGR type so you’ll need to use Clear Type in windows to clean text up. It’s not perfect, there’s the occasional blurry text or colour shift on certain applications but I’ve found it fine and I work all day on it.

Do you think this monitor is viable for working from home with a lot of word docs, spreadsheets, etc.? I've never had a VA panel before and I'm nervous about black smearing and stuff when scrolling through websites or documents.

@Aravind Ashok i also have a lg32ud99 ips 4k hdr and this monitor is way better for gaming in my opinion the size is big but you get use to it a lot of fun on all gaming and movies and shows you cant go wrong if you like the look of the new samsung qled tvs it looks like that good luck :)
I had to return it because it has this yellowish glare around the monitor on a white background plus I was only getting 70-80 FPS on my Gigabyte Geforce 8GB 2070. I felt just awaste of $700+ bucks until prices come down on a 4090 to get the full 144hz. I may well stay 60hz which i can play fine with but the yellowish glare I could not understand i tried everything to get rid of it...Did anybody else get ayellowish glare?
Been thinking about picking this monitor up since the price has went down to $699. I just want a big 4k hdmi 2.1 144hz display with good hdr brightness and i have 2 pc’s so it will make my desk less cluttered. My two systems are a 12900k 3080ti, 5950x radeon vii been playing at 3440x1440 120hz ips gsync and 1440p 144hz freesync VA. Been debating on this or an msi 32in 4k 144hz ips gsync display that’s around $950. And looking into smaller lg oled models i love my 65in CX i use for the sx and ps5. Just don’t want to think about burn in with the desktop every time I’m on my pc.
Hey what is you recommended settings for gaming ? Ive used all the hdrs but is still find it a little bit dark, is there any way to enhance the colors?
Quick question. Is this monitor compatible with the ps5s vrr? It'd be awesome to play spiderman remastered/miles morales and Ratchet and clank rift apart with vrr on at a high refresh rate. I'm thinking about purchasing this monitor. Thanks for any and all help.
Didn't you notice any vertical banding or dse on non static immages like when playing Games looking into bright light or the sky? Heard this multiple times now. Plus it's obviously a shame that the HDMI 2.1 ports bandwidth is limited meaning u get chroma sampling on PS5 and not 4:4:4.
Watched lots of vids on this. how is the text for every day work use and browsing. . no one ever says if its good medium or awful would be nice to know. thanks

What monitor stand is that? Can you link it please! Also are you able to get full 4k120 on the PS5? I heard something about only producing chroma 4:2:0 when ps5 requires 4:4:4 - could you clarify?
I can answer this for you since I have both the monitor and the ps5. Ps5 has a capped HDMI 2.1 output to 32 instead of the full speed of 48. So it outputs in 4:2:0 but that is not the monitors fault but a limitation on the ps5 (this only apply for 4k 120fps hdr) the monitor does handle full 4:4:4 On pc you have no problems. However you won't notice the different between 4:2:0 and 4:4:4 on any ps5 game, the only time I can see a difference is like on desktop pc work specifically the fonts.
What mic do you use the most? I’ve seen some videos of the Shure SM7B, this one (re20?), and a couple others. Need help cause I’m going to start streaming but want a good mic. Original setup I wanted was Shure sm7b with go xlr
The Shure SM7B is hands down the best mic. It’s what I’ve been using for the last 6 months or so and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Make sure you get a Cloud Lifter if you do decide to go with the Shure.

I haven’t. It’d be heavily dependant on how far away you’re sitting and how much screen real estate you want for gaming. 43” vs 32” is quite a significant size difference.

That depends on a lot of factors. What is your budget? Are you building a new system or putting it into an existing build? Will you be just gaming or streaming or both?
@@iamfallfromgrace gaming mostly, Currently have 2080 super 10700k with a 2560x1440p monitor. This would be used for me ps5 too. With my gpu I'd have to downscale the resolution on some games, because obviously 4k gaming isn't exactly easy to gain good performance but on some games I'd play using a controller on both pc and ps5 so not 100% sure yet...
