Great paint job I'm currently building a Shelby Mustang GT 500 I never would've thought to use a color like FS36118 now I can think about other colors I wouldn't have thought of before. Thanks for the inspiration

Hey Paul that's a really great colour combo and looking forward to seeing yet another masterful build series. Have you thought of putting together your bloopers at the end of a series as your sense of humour is rib cracking and I always piss myself laughing when your on form. 🤣👍❤

Great work so far. What medium are you use for clean the airbrush after 2K clear?

Thank you, i use standard lacquer thinner to clean it and the 2k thinner to rinse beofre putting it in the airbrush, thanks for watching and commenting :) Paul

for when hair or dust fall on the urethane clear coat: why not let it dry and cure, go with a 2000 grit mesh wetsand, then respray clear again.

@@InternationalScaleModeller I have on a NASCAR model many years ago - thinned with cellulose thinner it worked fine. I really liked the fact that as a metallic blue the flakes were very fine.

I have used it twice. If thinned properly it sprays on well. What I live is the wide variety of colors. Like another post said, the metallic particles are very fine.

Hi Paul. great videos. what do you do between the primer coats so the primer doensnt dry in the airbrush? just leave in the cup or clean the AB?

What spray booth and respirator do you use/recommend? My spray box is the basic 99 USD type and does not seem to do much.

Nice job. I’m a beginner, so will gloss clear spray from a can be ok? Or should I go for a airbrush clear? I can’t use the clear that you’re using. I have multiple people with asthma. I’ve seen people use razors to scratch the clear if there is a dust speck in a coat. So I didn’t know if you knew that, so I thought I’d share.

Just be careful with any clears that it doesn't eat your decals, nice thin coats building it up slowly to a wet coat. You can get a very good finish form he likes of Tamiya Ts-13 and some sanding and polishing, thanks for watching and commenting - Paul :)

@@InternationalScaleModeller Thanks for checking my build out mate! I am glad you like it. Always good to get a build approved by a pro😇 You should use the viola ophelia when you get the chance. Be aware it is rather transparant for a dark colour. I used a fine metallic silver basecoat, but i found it to be too coarse and bleeds a bit trough. I would go for extra fine, or just a regular silver paint. Keep up the good work!
