Hello Paul and greetings from Nova Scotia, Canada. I am a 74 year old FEMALE modeller and love your videos. You were the first one I ever learned from! Thank you for your fine instructions, you have helped more than you know! Best regards, Judy Garnhum

Great to see you building the kit. It is set in the side of the bench for my first build in the fall. I picked up the aber detail up set and with your build along, I feel comfortable saying the build has got a touch easier.

When you’re painting the base or first colour paint do you allow full amount of paint or somewhere in between?

Good easy to follow. Must give the white primer another go. Did you use your .35 mm airbrush for primming? Looking forward to part 2.

Why such an high pressure when spraying ump primer Is that just for the white primer or for all your primers? I have your ump grey primer and spray around 20 psi Also what side needle do you use? I'm using a 3.5 needle
@heiden2413
@heiden2413 5 лет назад
Arthur Miller woah 3.5, jesus
@InternationalScaleModeller
@InternationalScaleModeller 5 лет назад
I’m using the .35 mm needle of the Apex and yes 25-30 psi is the best spraying pressure

Just a short question if I may... You mentioned Stynylrez at one point. Are UMP primer and Stynylrez related?
@InternationalScaleModeller
@InternationalScaleModeller 5 лет назад
Yes we've always been open about our primer being Rebranded stynylrez, even says so on the bottle ;)

@@InternationalScaleModeller Oh. I was just experimenting with Stynylrez. Excellent primer, it seems. Glad to hear that it's what you're using! Thanks!

Good vid again Paul. Just one small point as it's going to be useful to new modellers - I don't think you mentioned taping the body to the Tamy paint stand. As I found out when first using one, if you don't you can almost guarantee that the body will fall off the thing just as you're finishing applyiing your last clear coat...!!
