My dad used to play this song to my mom along with my heroine to my mom all the time he lost his battle to hep c when I was 5 and said he was ok with leaving bc there wld still be a piece of him left on this earth (me) and at 15 years old I still come back to these songs every once in awhile I miss him so much but I hope he smiles down at me listening to Silverstein just like he did
I have mad respect for them, they crashed at my house in 2000 when they were on tour in VA and had nowhere to stay. Just wanted the abbreviated version... Long time fan.
That's crazy. Probably my favorite Silverstein song and he wrote it in a day. Also has one of the most complex endings of any of their songs. Pure talent.
My first youtube comment ever is informing the internet where to find a parking lot space. Costa Mesa, CA at the outdoor shopping center called The Camp. We'll just call it good karma to share. ;)
3 years later, im about to deploy for active duty for the U.S. Military and watching this before i deploy. still makes me chuckle. cheers fellow earthling.
What a song writing gift this man has... he’s great at this genre of writing, I imagine he can write in a plethora of other genres as well.., By this point, he’s been doing this 20 odd years aha
Listen to it first. Then Look for tabs. Learn it. Then Listen again to the song. Play with it. Some tabs have notes in the wrong fret or stuff so just feel it. It's music ;)
*Gets sued :3 no but this is one of my favorite songs from silverstein. discovering the waterfront is my favorite, and in memory of is my second favorite 😄
I see paddle your xxx canoe didn't make it into the song. I can't actually read that word, but it sort of looks like that and that's hilarious for me to believe. Is it weird to want to visit a parking lot on a vacation? Also, this song is absolutely potentially one of my all time favourite songs.
