AP/Repeater Mode Installation Guide Wavlink AC600 Outdoor High Power WiFi AP/Extender WN570HA1 

Could another one be done that is not trying to get it under 5 minutes. Without the music and explanations on how and why. I’m a boomer trying your product out but, if I can’t get it done l have wasted my money. It looked like what I need but I’ll keep poking at it.

Just got a AC 600 and does not seem to power up using my own POE switch but works great with the supplied POE injected. Why is that? Other POE devices work just fine with my POE switch.

I do not want it to accept the wifi signal, I only want it to get its internet from the eathernet cable and then broadcast the stronger signal. It is only working as a repeater for my wifi and I'm only getting 9mbs instead of 250mbs+. The cable is 40m long so that shouldn't be the issue. I have it plugged in from the router to the poe power box, then to the poe on the unit. What did I do wrong in the settings.

What is AP mode? Which mode do I need to expand the signal I already have farther.

@@25566 Why is that normal? It is sold as a long range device with its MAIN purpose being an OUTDOOR range extender. My regular accespoint can do 50 meters in the open. Who will put an access point on his RV? You need a client or range extender that can pick up the weak signal and boost it again.

@@hansdegroot652 i thought you meant 30-50mbps, but yes the range on this thing is also crap. A 29 usd xiaomi router will give you better range and gigabit speeds, wavlink is a bad brand, i got mine for free in exchange for a positive review on amazon, this already tells you how bad they are

@@WavlinkOfficial Thank you. I did try a 5e and it worked just fine. I got it outside on my roof, and im getting a good single 6 city blocks in my area. I got the WAVLINK N300 so thats about 1/2 mile. Im real happy, and my friend that lives 3 blocks away now can get the internet from me.

I bought one of their access points set it up According to their instructions and went I got to their website it says server not found none of the set up websites work also there is no customer support anywhere no phone number to call

@@WavlinkOfficial Hello, I need to have it repeater in gateway mode (formerly called WISP mode?) The brige mode is no good. I need my own password on wifi etc. Anyway It turned out that after i connect to the wavlink if it has no internet yet (since I forst need to connect to it and configure the wifi gateway) my phone reroutes traffic via my sim/dataplan and it never reaches 192.168.10.1 anymore. So my problem is fixed. Also flashing the latest firmware made the range a bit better but 5g is very limited.
