@@Agungsugiartono Hello, WN572HG3 has a Gigabit WAN/LAN composite port and a 100M LAN port. The composite port supports POE power supply and can be used as both a WAN port and a LAN port, so the LAN port naturally has no need to support POE power supply anymore. The extra LAN port is mainly for the terminal to use for wired Internet or continue to relay other routers. I am using this unit to receive a WiFi signal in a campground and then re transmit the WiFi at my camp site. Many extenders cut the bandwidth in half when you do this. With the Wavelink Wing 12M you can set the 2.4Ghz side to listen for the camp ground signal and then rebroadcast it on the 5Ghz radio. This does not cut the speed in half.

Decent video. Use the pause function to make sure the setup is going in the right direction. Instructions in the box are good, with all the software piracy and data monitoring going on I’m not sure how wavelink stacks up but this extender works well in my rural area.

I have a problem with the wavlink wifi Repeater AC 1200, when I want to turn it on, 2 blue LEDs from the power turn on and off, the power LED and the signal LED, i.e. LED 1 and LED 6, and the green LED from the poe converter also lights up it also turns off. the above mentioned LEDs turn on and off at the same time. I tried to reset it but it doesn't reset... if you could help me... thank you

@@WavlinkOfficial for outdoor AP, maybe u can upgrade your antenna dbi look at totolink a011. it 11 dbi antenna. recently i bought it for replace wavlink ac600 antenna. if in the future wavlink already with high gain antenna. it will be good 👍

The reason why we have not made the gain value of outdoor AP too high is mainly considering that although the larger the gain value of the antenna, the longer the coverage distance to a certain extent, but its signal coverage will not be so uniform，and the corresponding coverage will be reduced accordingly. Our current AP are mainly used for omnidirectional coverage. In order to ensure the user experience, we chose a relatively intermediate 7DBi, so that it is not easy to have the situation where the signal can be received but the network cannot be used.

@@WavlinkOfficial yes u correct but for my opinion, most of outdoor AP is for coverage wide area. which not high building so if this AP has built-in 11dbi antena and i put it in public place like yard or we market. it will cover more line of sight area. coz that places must be dont need vertical coverage 👍

At first I was thinking what a well made video this was. It was the right speed well, very well edit and visually it was well shot. But then you went to the computer screen shots and it was a total let down. The pace went too fast I could not see what you were clicking on and it was not that informative. People that watch these how to videos are not techies or they would not need your videos. They are regular people that take their phone to the equipment and try to use pause and watch a little screen. Anyways, the first part of your video was one of the best how to videos I've ever seen and the last parts were one of the worse. The only reason I'm commenting is because we need more good how to videos and you have potential to be one of the best. Good luck

Hey "Wavelink Official"....if you are going to make an informational tutorial, at least be considerate about people trying to keep up with your speedy video. I think most of us prefer narration to silent QUICK DRAW videos. You need to watch some "HOW TO" videos on making a decent video!

This extender works great, but it is public. Anybody could use it. I cannot go to the website to change the security feature and add a password. Can you help me on this?

I'm getting somewhat worse signal than my asus ac1900 router , how do I fix this , the way I'm conecting is from modem Lan cable to poe power adaptor provided then with the same adaptor it has a power out and use it in its respective place , I was hopping that this whould be better if not close to my old router in place 9f where I put the old router but the signal is a bit more diminished any help whould be appreciated in advance 😇😊😊😇 👍👌👌👍

Why the less than 10ft height from the ground? I am trying to use 2 of these to tie two buildings 400ft apart. Was going to mount them on the roofs. The ground is not flat so the 10ft limit will not have clear line of sight. Do I need to return these and get something else?

I have a doubt how to get the maximum speed from the device "AC1200 Dual-Band High-Power Outdoor". On the RJ 45 cable that goes to the device I get 362Mbps but when I connect this cable to the AC1200 device the WIFI gives me only 100Mbps (being next to the device). If I move away 50 meters the speed drops to less than 10Mbps. How can I get 300Mbps using Wifi over a distance of 50 meters outdoors (without barriers)? Thanks

However, compared with ordinary household router, outdoor AP antennas have much larger gain value and rf power, stronger wall penetration and coverage, and multiple protection designs such as rain protection, lightning protection and sun protection, as well as POE power supply support, so it is more suitable for outdoor use. Therefore, if it is used in large family houses, we still suggest that it is more appropriate and cost-effective to buy our Mesh router for networking. The mesh networking scheme can achieve seamless roaming and non-destructive transmission.

Hello, it is generally not recommended to change the beacon interval, just follow the default or recommended settings. The default is usually 100ms. Of course, if the network environment is not very good, then you need to set a larger value. It is recommended to change it to 500ms to see if the network is improved. The beacon is a periodic signal sent by the router. After the wireless network card scans the beacon, it will find the corresponding router and display it. If the beacon interval is lowered, frequent transmission of beacons will occupy wireless bandwidth resources. It is not good for connected wifi users, and it will also affect the network speed. If it is increased, it will be slower for newly connected users to scan the wireless SSID, so you need to make a compromise based on the actual situation. L'antenna da spenta, parte, fa autotest, lampeggia lan, poi wan e wifi...poi si accende wifi e tutti i led del segnale ma non si accende ne wan ne lan E collegandolo al pc non "cerca" la lan.....in wifi, nonostante indichi che e' pieno segnale, non esce "wavlink" (che dovrebbe uscire perche ho fatto reset, sia 10secondi sia di 20 secondi) Da buttare?

Ciao, se le luci della porta WAN e della porta LAN non sono accese, potresti avere un problema con il cablaggio. Wie soll die Antenne im 5GHz Modus 867 MBit/s schaffen obwohl das ganze Gerät nur mit maximal 100 MBit/s erkannt wird? Das ist im Video ab 5:27 min zu sehen und ist bei mir auch so. Die Reichweite ist wirklich super, aber die Geschwindigkeit von max 100 MBit/s ist traurig.

Das 5: 27-Segment zeigt die Geschwindigkeit an, wenn der Computer über das Netzwerkkabel mit dem WN572HG3 verbunden ist, nicht die Geschwindigkeit der WiFi-Verbindung. Der WN572HG3 verfügt über einen Gigabit-WAN-Port und einen 100-M-LAN-Port. Die Funktionen von 5 GHz und 2,4 GHz spiegeln sich bei der Verbindung mit WLAN wider. Wenn das Gerät über ein Netzwerkkabel mit dem WN572HG3 verbunden ist, beträgt die Geschwindigkeit daher nur 100 MBit / s. Wenn es jedoch mit WLAN verbunden ist, kann es bei 5 GHz die Geschwindigkeit von 867 MBit / s erreichen. Darüber hinaus wird WN572HG3 als Outdoor-AP verwendet. @@WavlinkOfficial ich habe meine Antenne am WAN angeschlossen, dann kommt die Poe Dose und dann an meinem Router ( Fritz Box 7590). In der Fritzbox wird die Antenne nur mit 100mbit erkannt. Hätte ich gewusst das die Antenne so langsam ist hätte ich mir noch einen zweiten Fritz Repeater 2400 gekauft.

@@stefansasse1761 Hallo, wenn Sie eine höhere Geschwindigkeit wünschen, empfiehlt es sich, in Ihrer Router-Fritzbox in den Repeater / WISP / Wireless-Bridge-Modus zu wechseln und dann eine Verbindung zum WN572HG3 über WLAN statt über ein Netzwerkkabel herzustellen. Es kann das von dir genannte Problem lösen.

I have two Wavlink unit and will not buy anything again from them. With the customer service I received I cannot recommend their products and will not purchase any more of their products again. I would find another company and stay away from Wavlink.
