Hey, this is just a random stranger, but you seriously helped me cram before every unit exam with your unit review videos. Ap exam tomorrow might be hopeless tho
Aw I'm so glad that these videos helped during the year. I'm bummed you feel that way about the test, but at this point cramming won't do a whole lot haha, so get some good rest tonight, and a good breakfast & make sure you know the formula sheet-do the best you can! Good luck!
I had to come back to say I got a 4 on my stats exam and wanted to give you a HUGE thank you! My stats teacher is great, but being taught similar things from a different teacher helped me understand so much better! So thank you, and I love your energy!
Question. Near the 5 minute mark you say we don't know any of them. While I agree, isn't the standard language "reject the null hypothesis and (key word here) accept the alternative." My thought on "failing to reject" vs "accepting" the null is that lack of evidence against isn't evidence for.
I know some teachers teach it that way, and you can certainly make a case that it's okay to "accept the alternative," but I feel like "accepting Ha" means you've proven for a fact that it's true. To PROVE a claim, it typically takes a lot more than just one single test with a single sample... you've really only proven you have enough evidence that the claim is likely false.
