The wife returns to the channel, taking a casual approach to her game this match. Siri faces off against Dillon, a solid 4 with a ton of potential. Sadly, this is the only match completely recorded at this venue. Certain there will be more in the future.
Hope you guys enjoy it.
I'll be attempting to do 2 of these each week unless I'm at an event or on vacation for a while. For now, Tuesday morning and Friday evening PST release times.

Needed to watch this match today lol, just played my first ever league matches yesterday and came in assessed at a 4 (ACS 8-ball) and played generally pretty bad against my first opponents trying to adapt to a super fast 9 foot diamond table. I just started playing more seriously in April and mostly have been learning the game on a slower 8 footer with dirty felt/balls in my apartment building against a SL7 who also lives in the building. Nice to see similar 4's also making lots of very human mistakes lol. Hopefully I can adapt more next week!

Staying down on a break like a regular shot can make it difficult to get a good hit, especially for a woman and even moreso on 9' tables. Standing closer to the table a little more upright and shifting your center of gravity forwards just before the forward stroke can greatly increase break effectiveness with little effort from the arm, but getting the timing right to learn this can be really difficult for some people.

Tried working on getting her to move into her break a bit and she kept miscueing. During our practice sessions she will smash a break but she's gun shy in a match. Gotta fix that confidence. We'll keep practicing.

Aw yeah. Hopefully I can get some practice time in with her again soon. I'd like to see more winning from her. Keeps her happy around home for a while.
