I am preparing to move to Dallas and my locators have not been sending me apartments that either don't have what I want or have terrible reviews. I have been looking online on my own and watching videos to try and find apartments. I like how you showed the apartment and talked about some pros and cons for you, this is going to be my first apartment so I have an idea of what I want but it is nice to hear someone describe things that are important to them because it makes me start to rethink as well. Thank you for this video!

Let me just say, some of the Dallas locator are just sending out the same list everyone . Not actually putting in the work to make sure it fits that actual client. I’m glad you enjoyed the talk and found it beneficial. Let me know if there is something that I missed that you would like me to cover.

Nice video! Wish the apt videos were horizontal so we could see more of the space! I am a locator in Dallas and we use a database to find a list of apts in a certain price range but it’s only about 50% accurate so I manually go through each website/call apts to get the most accurate info. It takes about 2-3 hours for this process and it’s hard to keep up with multiple clients so that’s why most locators just send a general list of apts without rechecking each one

Apartment hunting can definitely be stressful and especially since I’m transferring from another state but I do have to say the last 1 before you even brought up the amenities I knew that they had that in mind when building that place makes sense

Really enjoy your videos. I’ve been researching apartments and came across your video of helpful list of apartments. That vid was extremely helpful and different from all the other videos on apartments and apartment tours I’ve seen. And at that point, I watched over 20 different videos in the span of 2 days. Only thing I disagree on is I’m more picky so I’ve been more focused on apartments with 4.5 stars or higher, sometimes 4.0+ stars. You were the only one that actually spoke about looking up reviews as part of your decision making. Looking forward to more videos regarding Dallas housing. Question Outside of rent, what are the utilities you pay for that are not included in rent? I’m guessing some are water and power

Thank you for that! 😁 outside of rent , it’s water and power. Most apartment have that setup through the rent but as a separate cost. . . Power is set-up by your choice of company .

This was some 🔥 content! I'm in the process of making my move to Dallas after military separation and this was one of the only helpful videos I've found. I personally think that Ross + Peak and Westerly Dallas were the better units though. If you're going to pay $1700 then I feel like all of the added amenities definitely make up for anything that it was to dislike about the unit.

Just watched b/c I’m apt hunting in Dallas as well. I love that Camden Greenville comes with a flex space, Ross + Peak sq ft a little small for them prices 🫣, and I like one floor plan with Westerly has a roof terrace but unit is small. The reviews are very ghetto as well lol. Did you read them? I’m having a hard time finding unit. I agree w/ everything you said. I will find one I like then read the reviews 😵‍💫

Ross + Peak is so cute but those pricing for me to lol. And Yes I’ve read them. Westerly is located in west Dallas were there still building up so the car breakins are ridiculous but they did talk about hiring 24hour security . But who know I that’s enough.

@@EverydayyBritt well that'll be good. they should already have that. but low-key every apt I find has the same issue. I may go view them for kicks and giggles. I love case badge in Deep Ellum but the way Deep Ellum be deeeeep on the weekend scares me lmfao.
