This was a beautiful home, created over many many years, love that the homeowner gives you the provenance of some of the pieces. She enjoys everything in her home, nothing is just for show!
One of the most charming, comfortable, well done homes I've ever seen. It's exactly what I would do if I had the knowledge, nerve and money. Perfection in my book.
I like the way she maximized the kitchen without making it look cluttered. Very inspiring and feminine. My kitchen is similar, I have no cabinets. She appreciates the smallest details, especially hand crafted works that remind her of certain people. The whole interior space is carefully decorated. Small furniture pieces, treasured items, warm and feminine. Love the swag & jabot curtains. The bedroom space is divine!
I love this, I watched this with my granddaughter, she remarked, Mimi, this is like your house. Surprising, because my home is in Phoenix, Az. Done correctly, old world antiques can be enjoyed anywhere. Thank you for sharing.
Indeed. What a charming & peaceful place to live. I had the chance to visit and stay in Boston near Beacon Hill few years ago and it's lovely, historic, but it's expensive. A small condo is around 2,300.000$ (a touwn house around 5 milions et more...). So it's not affordable for everyone.
Now this is a real home. Chock full of character with mementos and heirlooms that all show the owners personality and intimate history. This beautiful creation shows care and purpose that one doesn't see much in today's "modern" taste. I remember growing up and visiting relatives homes, and i would hear how wonderful "she" decorated....when to me it was cold. Anyone could put a lamp on the table with a matching cloth to the shade, but it's the little details that's needed to add warmth and individuality to make a true HOME ! ..... Just like this life-rich lady ❣
When I searched the net for Liza Davis Beacon Hill Boston, a young lady pops up with quite different aesthetic. I would like to know more about the lady featured in this video and see more of her work as an interior designer and the wares she sold in her antique shop. She is utterly magnificent.
WOW!!! What a BEAUTIFUL, VISUALLY STUNNING AND COMFORTABLE LOOKING HOME!!! (I've watched it 5 times). I love Boston/New England Decor. While I have learned about design and antiques from my mother, Boston provided me a wealth of education in handling, studying, buying, and most importantly, appreciating fine craftsmanship...
I absolutely LOVE this apartment. It looks so welcoming. I especially adore that fireplace. I really miss having a wood burning fireplace. I have a gas one. Not the same! She makes good use of the space she has. It's really so very charming. It would fun to have tea with her.
What a beautiful, beautiful home! I love every aspect of it. Utter perfection. I know I will watch this over and over again. Thank you so much for making this video. 😍💕
A stunning Pied-a'-Terre. Most gracious. Ms. Davis has a superbly talented eye and creates a sense of genuine charm that eludes so many homes today. Her sense of detail is spot on. One feels immediately welcomed into a world of warmth and sophistication without feeling stuffy. This is a study in "how it should be done". Congratulations and many thanks for sharing.
What a warm and charming person with a home to match! I love the fact that she truly appreciates everything around her. I'm going to watch this again straight away, and have another giggle at the "George" chair, which is apparently not the first 😝
I love this! Today people go with trends, white and white and more white. Nothing personal, nothing of interest of course it’s all about money. My home is filled with things I’ve collected for 40 yrs, it’s color filled with memories. I will confess I’m quite a collector a Francophile whose crazy about anything French especially French Bergere chairs, one day I’ll start a channel sharing what I love.
Un bijou. L'appartement est magnifique. Quel goût ! Mais aussi elle doit en avoir de l'argent ! de beaux meubles, de beaux objets. Un intérieur cosy et aussi rutilant.
I find that it is full of stories, I dig it! Really charming. The classic vintage furnitures made the whole tiny spaces an interesting place to be lived in! Give me a unique piece rather than generic one any days, I'll take it
I'm not really into the antique look, but I do like the cozy feel of the space. It would also be a really great starter home for a younger single person as well.
@@Print229 that's insane. I don't care what neighborhood it is, people that charge such over the top of rents should be bitched slapped! That's just greed.
Lovely, and what I would do if I had a new apartment. Beats feeling like you're living in an Ikea store as most apt tour videos seem today. It would have been nice to see the whole floor plan and the bathroom- where exactly was the kitchen and the bedroom- and the missing bathroom? All those doors and we didn't get to see what's behind them or where they led to!
