The guest registration card must be filed when escorting the client/ prospect for new construction, however, there are ways to circumvent this but client/ prospect registration is critical in leasing apartments and new construction.

It really just depends on the property management company. It is a rare occasion but it definitely can happen.

Smart Apartment Data is also a database you can use.

As you can see there are many considerations in apartment locating, much of these concerns can be alleviated by conducting and implementation of due diligence and reading policies, procedures, protocols, requirements for vendors.This is an exciting and lucrative business but it must be addressed as a business .It's better to have you license sponsored by a RE Brokerage firm that specializes in apartment locating in addition to traditional residential real estate Brokerage services.
