I like what you said at the beginning of this, Apathy. Your intellectualism & insight show in your rhymes, and you have a good understanding of how important delivery is, you keep the energy going so that the listener feels you, as well as hears you. Who would think that a hiphop flow could contain so much emotion, but songs like “Mind Playing Tricks” & “ Alwayz Into Something” really do have a way of reaching out & touching you. When your generation of MC’s hangs it up (Uncle Howie, AOTP, Demigodz), the soul of hip hop will truly be gone, nothing lasts forever.

I'm sorry to anyone who doesn't agree, but I have to say this is one of the best hip-hop tracks ever. Fucking ridiculous! Apathy, who I currently consider the best rapper out right now on one of the smoothest Primo beats (IMO). Not to mention it's a whole freestyle and he just keeps comin' with bars while managing to keep his flow flawless. Album worthy.

@OntheHorizon83 yeah I agree his first 2 albums were dope even the 3rd n 4th, hes got some sick freestyles n appearances on other albums, I dnt hate Eminem, some of his shits mad, but dnt 4get he kinda went a lil mainstream n off the rails he's also got some pretty poor shit, but Apathy has been dope ever since his debut on JMT's 1st album bak in "97 since den he been dropping some killa stuff wivout any decline in his style, he just gets better, overall his career is more impressive den Em's
This wasn't really a legit freestyle from AP but it was good. Check out indiehiphop101's channel for some OLD raw ap footage and then come back. Ap has some sick tracks but this is far from a free and if you knew your shit you should know that this was a written all though it's fucking sick with it.

Hey Apathy, is there gonna be a Get Busy Committee Instrumental album? My friend want's the "No Time to Speak" instrumental and I think the "Dancin on Your Grave" one also. Scoop's productions never seize to amaze me. Also Can't wait for the new Demigodz album with the Premier track either.
It wouldn't be labeled a freestyle if it was pre-written to a particular order. Of course the bars themselves are written, but there's no true structure to them. That's what makes it (to me) an improvisational freestyle. Don't say I don't know my shit for calling it what Apathy and DJ Premier labeled it as ONE THE COVER (lol) : "freestyle"

Definitely got you. I agree with you, my definition of freestyle is true off-the-dome rhymes, but at the same time, I don't really get upset with other's interpretation of the term. It's all love. We both win, hip-hop forever. New Demigodz album soon, everyone.
