I'm eagerly waiting delivery of my Hybrid (m), realise that it won't be a 'fast' wing with all those draggy Vee-tabs on the rear sail, but pleased to hear your views on the ease of handling.....also,- mine's the same colour :-) :-)
I got one coming in the mail so thanks for the review. The speed seems to be the only downside to the wing from what I've seen so I'm a little concerned about that. However, I'm not a XC pilot so it'll be fine for me.
New ideas for wings, this is great, What about a three layer wing? With the top layer shaped like a bird like contour . Or the back half with ribs only?
Can you tell me a little more about the penetration you got with the speedbar? Like, roughly what the glider's wind speed its with trims out and speedbar. I just ordered a Hybrid and I'm wondering if I made a good decision. I had flown several wings and really felt good on the hybrid, since launching and landing is so easy. I'm a paramotor pilot.
The speed increase isn't as much as most double skin paragliders but it's usable, very sinky though. I think for freeflying at the beach is isn't great but for paramotoring it might be quite nice if you're not in a hurry to get anywhere and typically you fly with less wind

@@AndreBandarra1 Not necessarily that day, just have you? I used to do that with my RC glider. I wouldn't heave it very hard either...I had to work my way up. It was brutally hard. (I love flying when there is just barely enough or less lift to fly)... Well, RC stuff.

I love dune flying as a preference every time, some of the dunes I fly in the north east of England are quite small but awesome fun. How do these single skin and hybrid wings cope with this type of flying? can you do a demonstration on some smaller dunes. (You will be able to see on my videos the type of dunes I fly. )
I think it’s a cool and interesting wing but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for beach flying, same with single skins. Think they are more suitable for low wind mountain descents. With strong wind they don’t do so well and the speed range is somewhat limited
While I always applaud and respect the work that goes into a new design, I really don't see the point of this wing... Too heavy for a single skin... There are proper "mountain"-double skins that don't really weigh more, some even less, yet perform a lot better...
I think it will see more of a following by powered folks, being more stable in the launching and landing. This is why I am looking at it. I wont be able to get out and fly allot so this wing will be more forgiving... I hope! :) Cheers
@@patrickmckowen2999 With all due respect: getting this wing won't fix your problems... Getting proper education will! If that is you flying on your YT-channel, you have no business dangling from a paraglider... Powered or otherwise... Ignore my words at your peril, you don't even know half the dangers you're facing. There isn't a single decent instructor alive that would watch those videos and disagree!
