you just wire it into 24v and common (typically red and blue). If you got the model that handles line voltage, you just connect the wires to L1 and L2 anywhere, perhaps on the relay or just in the line voltage wire nuts depending on your configuration.
If you are installing the APCO lamp within the plenum after the airhandler fan. Will the UV light harm the flex duct plastic lining or fiberboard in the plenum?
How easy is it to replace the UV bulb every 3 years? Do I need to pay a technician to come out to replace the bulb or is it an easy replacement that anyone can do? Where would I buy the replacement bulbs? How does this air cleaner compare to the RGF REME HALO in duct air purifier?
People are having issues with mold inside apartment, condos,duplex and homes and getting sick. The landlords don't clean coils on furnace. There also is water damage to walls and floors or pets not going outside. The new big machine is called ozone and I may not be spelling right but a riff machine. Both if used right stop the mold in air and building. Some people fighting it are saying buy a uv furnace airpurifier but I'm trying to figure out how to install it in furnace by coils to stop all the drama.
@@teriknauer-schaferI would discourage using Lysol. It can damage the metal it sits in contact with, and you don't want that in the air of your house. Do some research on how exposure to Lysol causes all kinds of health problems. Lysol should only be used where it is applied in liquid form and then cleaned off. This way, it isn't inhaled. As far as the mold is concerned, the source of the water must be eliminated. If the water is coming from the HVAC air handler, then having a UVC light radiating the coil would help to stop mold growth. I'm IICRC certified in mold remediation, and one of the things we were instructed was that the latest studies are showing that ozone has minimal effect on mold.
