I have the Exotec, and I must say that I am not satisfied to date. The reason is that during diving, it keeps turning me either to the right or to the left constantly. I've talked to people who also have it, and they face the same problem. I think the issue lies in the rotating hip belt. If it were fixed in place, this problem wouldn't occur. I'm wondering what can be done. Is there a way to make the belt not rotate? Considering the Apeks Exotec is not cheap, such an issue shouldn't be present, and I believe it might not have been thoroughly thought out.

I have the same problem and my buddy told me the same. Something goes wrong with this construction. 😢We try to fix the problem but it still doesnt work. Its not So good as we expected for this money.

@@patryykkkc5864 "I wrote to Apeks and received instructions stating to insert a weight on one side to balance it and prevent tipping. There are small pockets on the backside for this. I decided to sell it because I didn't want to go through the hassle. I've now bought Xdeep and am extremely satisfied - perfect buoyancy, and no tipping issues."

@@patryykkkc5864 Are you guys using steel tanks? I'm thinking the tank is sitting high off your back and is wanting to fall to your left or right. That aluminum backplate has to be moving the tank off your back a ways. I use a Tusa Liberator and if I don't cinch down the waist cumber belt, the tank too wants to fall to the left or right. If it's nice and tight.....no problems.

Don't forget about the extremely well hidden trim pockets on the shoulders ( behind the shoulder dumps.)

Great review. Is it true that you can also swim in it with two diving tanks? What. The correct size will be for a height of 182 cm and a weight of approximately 90 kg
