Well it kinda makes sense. *(TL:DR* *new legends have a element of surprise.)* When a new legend or weapon gets released, most people don't know how to counter said legend (or weapon). Because they don't know what that legend or weapon does. but when a legend has been out for a while, people learn how to counter it. Just look at rampart, her turret at launch was extremely good because people didn't know how to counter it but after awhile they learned that they just needed to move a little to the side.

to be fair Seer was bodied by a tentacle face turantula so that doesn't count.

Of all the apex predators, the only one that beat blisk for intimidation factor in my book was ash, this trailer and her entire character prove it.

No one would play Caustic and Seer anymore because this three would counter both. Or the most would Play Path, ash and Reve (Im a Seer Main haha)

I mean you say that, but it makes even less sense when fellow Caustic gets damaged by opposing Caustic, considering both wears a specialized gasmask designed for the nox gas. By the end of the day, it's ludonarrative dissonance, or whatever that is. To achieve gameplay balance, lore would have to take a backseat in most instances. Who knows, perhaps the 'legends' fighting in the battlefield is just a green bodysuit human with mocap on who takes on whichever legends they 'picked', explaining why there can be multiple legends and why abilities affects everyone equally regardless of their biological composition.

It also shows Ash actually utilizing her sword actively in combat, while in game it´s purpose is kinda lackluster... It would have been much more fun if the ult was something similar to Genji in Overwatch´s ult, you know actually using it to stab other people instead of just opening a one way portal. This was the game would have gotten it´s first real melee character instead of a character that shares similarities with Wraith
