Quick question TimProvision your an Xbox player correct? If so would you ever consider playing a few matches with me in Apex its hard to find some nice friends and decent people plus I feel like you could help educate more first person..
I got 2 wins this season out of like 65 games. At this point I'm just happy to make top 5. I've never been good at BR games, but I'll take all the tips out there lol.
Try another legend, my second day of apex I got 2 wins in a row (that was yesterday) I've played around 25 games with pathfinder and only 3-4 top 3s, I play Gibraltar and I immediately get 2 wins in a row while having more kills than my teammates combined.
Love these videos and how you’re able to really show everything you’re talking about! 3 things I think are also huge when it comes to getting better at apex (this may be more for moving from the intermediate stage to the higher level play stage, would love to see a video for tips of people in this category) 1. playing cover (you kind of touched on this in movement section). As you start fighting better and better enemies, playing cover and not getting caught out in the open being no where near cover is so important. Get beamed and instantly downed by a high accuracy enemy (or more than one at the same time) happens all the time but being mindful about always being close to cover is something that really helps me. 2. Knowing when to heal. This is actually huge, a lot of people don’t know when to heal and don’t do a good enough job of keeping track on enemy health. This can be solved through good team communication (always communicate damage you do to enemies and who is damaged and when you are healing) but, in general, if your shield gets cracked you should be looking for the first opportunity to heal that shield or get an armor swap (this is situation but I’m sure you get what I mean). 3. Recognizing that the win is not the goal, the goal is to get better. This was briefly touched on in the mental part at the end but seriously, getting wins without getting in a lot of fights or spending the majority of early and mid games never fighting will not make you better, especially not in a timely manner. Getting in as many fights as possible is the best and fastest way to get better. I would love to hear your tips for getting into a healthy number of fights every game especially on the new map. There are a ton of variables that go into it but in general looting fast and dropping with other teams or close to other teams you can rotate on, listening for enemy gun fire and planning rotations to keep you in the action where you think most likely the most fights will take place (watching where teams drop in the drop ship can also be a good way to do this, but teams move around so much especially on the new map with all the gravity canons). Anyway I think these are all huge things to keep in mind when trying to level up your play!
Thanks for the detailed comment Xriqq! But yeah, the map is huge so getting a lot of fights is kind of a throw of the dice. I've been trying to watch where enemies land more recently as I am in the drop ship.
I’m not trying to be showing off but I’m level 250 and this still helped me a little so this will help low levels a lot and you are clear and I understand you not like different people.
ive really been struggling this season due to the breakdown of a friendship and loss of the squad i used to play with every night. i've been having a really hard time solo queuing all the time and feel pretty stuck and defeated. any tips on how to improve as a solo?
Thank you for your content! Thanks to him, I began to notice my mistakes and improve myself. And the language barrier is not a hindrance to understand you (greetings from Russia)
Didn't learn anything new, but definitely all solid advice One thing that I will say to improve matches is simple Keep calm under pressure For a long time my heart would be racing, and I'd be stressing out during high intensity moments. The situation seems like a blur, and you make mistakes Now I'm completely unfazed by even something like juggling 2 teams as the lone member of my squad It's made such a difference just to keep under control, though I know the suggestion is easier said than done
I stopped playing apex for years picked it back up a few days ago and can't put it down. So much fun but I've been struggling so this video was a big help thank you
Word of warning on increasing FOV: there is a trade off between more awareness with higher FOV, but it comes at the cost of making it a little harder to see what you’re aiming at in the center of the screen at longer distances.
I've been playing apex since Season 1, and I am super inconsistent, bruh. I have practiced daily for over 6 months (recoil control, accurate flicks, track of dummies at different speeds and distances), and also watched many hours of awarness tutorials, and yet here I am. At this point I feel like I am literally uncapable of improving for a lack of intelligence. Lmao
It's just an intuition thing. I completely sympathize, I have around 800-900 hours on apex, I practice all the time, and I still am not good; I've noticed that Apex just goes against my instinct. Personally I've learned I have to think less instead of more. Maybe that's the case with you too. I doubt you're too stupid to play Apex lol
@@draketinjum428 That's what I have relised too. Whenever I take a long break of the game (actual game, not firing range) I have a very strong popoff. Maybe I just need to relax and stop overthinking stuff. Thanks for answering and for the advice.
I started day one and kept on hopping off and on the game and now I’m just starting to get into the game and all im saying is that I used to overthink my gunfights but now I just go with it and do what’s on my mind because if u overthink stuff ur brain is gonna get cramped and ur gonna get confused so just go with ur gut and just do it
Well I started playing 1 day ago, started because winter express but then loved game. I usually win arena matches and duos or trios maybe every match at least top 5 to top 1
Personally, I've recently fallen in love with the Mozambique. My go-to combo is R-301/Mozzy and it's done wonders for my fights. Cheers for the menu tips, I think they're really gonna help me out!
It's a little hard to understand your team8s skill level when they don't say anything or shoot at all during the match. I have now had multiple games in a row, where my team sits inside a building camping as caustic, without helping the team at any point.
i got 1206 m long shot by using grenade. its not a glitch. i ran away after grenade my enemies then they got knocked by the ring after i already ran away far into the ring
i dont mean to point this out as a mistake but i think it would be better to carry 180-240 ammo since its 3-4 stacks compared to 4-6 because we can use the extra slots for nades (after subtracting meds and shields) but overall great video and learnt a lot from it
For controller ps4 players, I recommend looting with your index finger instead of your thumb. It's faster for me to loot but thats just my experience, other people might have other tactics but that's my tip 👍. For controller players it's easier to play close range weapons than long range so I suggest r99, prowler (I use that normally 👍), a shotgun, volt, and maybe wingman? Takes some time to master it though 💀. Not sure if I missed some weapons but I probably did.
I have my controls so weird. Click in right thumb to pick up, and left thumb to slide. Highly recommended even if it takes a second to adjust to opening doors with R3
i’ve been playing since day 1 so i would say im pretty advanced but this video was very entertaining, im someone who loves everything apex legends so in glad i found another good content creator keep up the good work!
This season is actually pretty good I like the new map but it could be A LOT better and it feels smaller than it is because of the huge rocks and most places people dont go at all other than that its pretty good especially cuz wins are ez cause so many people die within 2 mins of the game and left with 5 squads left
If you are having trouble having fun in apex, play octane. I never really had fun in this game until I played octane and I was like “hOLy fUcK iM aLiVe rIgHt nOw”
This biggest challenge i face is moron teammates. Dropping into spots that 3 other teams are dropping into simultaneously. Its probably the absolute dumbest thing you can do in the game because when 3 teams drop at the same time you're removing any skill and placing you and YOUR TEAMS survival on luck. If you drop near a gun mod and the enemy next to you drops near a weapon who do you think is gonna survive? Its been talked about plenty by pros but new players should be aware of this before anything else imo. Also another huge thing about the beginning of the game is getting to the ground first. If you do choose a hot spot and decide to land there have way through the drop ships path after 5 squads have already landed there you will land and die. Always land with your jump master. Unless he or she is doing what I mentioned above. Simple common sense will get you more wins and reward you with the most important thing which is FUN.
Yeah, I've said a few times on the channel your drop is literally so important and it feels a lot of players don't understand it! Thanks for the input!
I just started playing Apex 2 1/2 months ago, and I’ve only played as Fuse. My friends have all been playing since launch so we always get thrown into level 400+ lobbies. None of them ever use Fuse but they really like having me on the team as him. I’ve gotten very accurate with my clusters that gets super helpful pushing teams out over cover. I exclusively use the Flatline, and my secondary is usually a 301 or bocek
i've only recently started playing apex, mainly because my old PC was too weak... now that my new one is capable to run it on good settings i've started playing and the first thing i did differently than in my time of trying out fortnite is that i threw my noob-butt into hot dropzones. I'm still not good but i see myself improving with aim and movement and plays and such. Yes i choke under pressure still, yes i do rely on my teammates a lot... which are always randoms because i don't have friends to play with... but i do see myself also hitting those bocek shots more consistently, i see myself hitting the occasional sentinel or longbow headshot, i see myself beaming people with smg's or stick them with arc stars more consistently i was a coward in fortnite... that's why i dont like the game. Now i changed my whole outlook on battle royales and like to dive head first into action and if i land in the lobby i'll do it as many times as i need to get out of that starting battle victorious one thing i do like is sniping... yes yes i know, active combat sharpens the blade... but c'mon, poking at 2 or 3 squads from across the field hitting bodyshot after bodyshot and headshot, knock etc just feels so GOOD i went 1,4k damage one round (which is minescule compared to what experienced players do) with a sentinel poking at squads and getting 3 kills from that and.... 6 assists XD team went into the fight, i cracked their shields every time they dared to come out of that cover
I’ve noticed, I’m nowhere near as good as I used to be. Above average-never was pro. I think my eyesight has deteriorated. When you do die in apex it does feel like it’s because of a better player or team player and not by someone who cheated. I hate playing with someone running away because of a higher skill level and expects you to keep up, lol. And they wonder why nobody is there to revive them. I giggle to myself all the time when this happens.
i just started the game the other day, i haven't gotten any wins but with my matches i'm placing in 2nd or 3rd with crypto. there's defiantly a lot of learning to do but i'm having fun, thank you kindly for the tips!!
As a new player that played ranked for 6 hours an only got 3 wins i didn’t get any kills either i help team shoot or try to win a gunfight but i get outmatch then on my banner just seeing 0 kills pisses me off 😭
I wished they lowered TTK. It favours pre made teams a lot which makes Solo Q hell for people who can’t spend 3 hours or more per day in the game. Plus it makes third partying an extremely strong tool as the injured team will be quick to kill while the invading team has ammo, armour and the element of surprise. What pisses me off is that even certain weapons described to “Hit like a truck” take 5 or more HEADSHOTS to down the person just for the person to pull out a shield on top of that so you can’t finish them off.
I make sure I get 240 ammo for each sub or assault weapon I get and then 2 medkits 2 shield battery 8 shield cells and 4 syringes, the point of this is to have enough ammo and heals to handle a push after destroying a team, quick heal and quick kills
These are great tips but are they more suited for PC or Console players? As a Console player I find that PCs have an advantage especially in the movement category. Plenty of times ive dropped with pc players looting a bin right out from under me and by the time i find some acceptable loot, they are half way across the map and I'm trying to catch up. Also I find there may be some delay between console and pc servers even if they are crossplay.
I played really good in Apex I want a lot of trios with my teammates but my teammates sometimes our garbage and don't know how to play so always have to kill whole Squad by myself and sometimes I die
This game pisses me off so much!!!! Every game I get a team of let's rush in without nothing and die real quick type I wish I could play solo to learn the damn game without dying 1000 times due to idiots rushing a trio armed to the gills that runs together when we have one guy here there and everywhere but with me as A TEAM!
Hi Tim, how can i get laser aim ? Everyone in my lobby has laser aim...it's scary, i need to beam some pple too esp those bald wraiths. Every single bald wraith player i've seen has laser aim. Is there something i don't know ? Is bald wraith the new Meta ?
Bald Wraith 100% gives you beamer status(kidding). Unfortunately its really just time in. Wish I could say more. I am hoping to do an aiming guide this season.
@@TimProVision also it might seem that way because you are not strafing as much as you should! Is you move left and right it becomes that much harder to laser you. Try to practice it consciously every gunfight in a few games and see if you notice a difference
Shoot a whole clip of whatever gun you need practice with in the firing range without controlling your recoil at a wall. Look at the bullet pattern and do the opposite of what it looks like. If that makes sense 😂
The Main thing you should know before playing this Game is that it is Crossplay. And every System performs Differently. A Gaming PC is going to out perform a XBOX or Playstation 5 to 1. Balancing this game will always be a issue. Where they Buff this and Nerf that. But lets be honest you wouldn't wanna race a Toyota Camry against a Dodge Viper. Not to mention all the Computer Cheating Fucks playing this game. With all their Hack programs of infinite ammo and shooting through walls, hovering in the air , walking through bullets like terminators. Trust me i have seen all this. Its a game full of issues. So go ahead and buy all the cosmetic and skins your heart desires. Nobody's going to give a Fuck if you constantly die looking Fucking pretty. EA games use to be good. But now they just don't give a shit.
@@TimProVision Bullshit, i have loaded up with Randoms i don''t know how many times and get a PC player on my team. This fucker wasn't on my friends list. They was just some random fuck. Lets stop the lying Bullshit. Not to mention the cheating of PC players with their Hacking DOS coding making themselves fucking terminators with infinite ammo, shooting through walls, Genie floating in air, charge rife never stops shooting, The cheating is endless. You can't have 3 different operating systems playing together. The performance will always be 1 is going to outshine the rest. Example * you have 3 racers but John Q always gets a 10 sec fucking head start. The balance will never be fair.
Just want to point out as a loba main, loba is of of the WORST characters for beginner to play because she is has a high skill ceiling and would not recommend for newbies!! Id say start with gibby honestly ge has a easy learning curve while a good team supporter or lifeline is easy too! P.s the main reason for lobas high dkill ceiling is because of her ring which is easy to understand but super hard to be good at using!
