Apex Player Reacts To Valorant Episodes 1 - 5 (Shattered) 

There's a lot of lore you missed purely from not playing the game or seeing any of the fan feedback; For example, Viper (the woman with the green, toxic gas) isn't switching sides. Nor is Jett (The white-haired korean girl). They are from 'Mirror Earth' or Omega Earth, trying to stead radianite with the bombs they plant in hopes of retrieving it for their own earth.

little bit of lore so it all makes more sense: So radianite is a material that is harvested by those "bombs" (spikes) from the environment by force, destroying everything behind. There is a multiverse, and 2 earths are in a "war" were one is trying to steal radianite from the other (hints the question phoenix made in ep 3 "i wonder why they need our radianite for". SOME people have powers, they're called radiants (phoenix and jett for example), but most are normal agents who use technological weapons our gadgets to have a chance against radiants. Phoenix is the only one that revives (hints the name, phoenix) in the game is his ultimate. My theory to why they're always alive even after dying in other cinematics is another agent called Sage (the ponytail girl at the end of WARM UP who destroyed the bot with a wall), her ultimate in game is reviving someone, so thats my theory. In the newest episode the earth from the previous episodes (that were being robbed) decided to strike back, created a portal to go to Omega earth (the other earth, ours is the Alpha) and went to steal radianite back. They thought Omega earth were creating a weapon with the radianite....but it looks like they were wrong..... In retake, Jett wasn't dead, she was pretending and she was hiding behind Phoenix, Yoru knew and he shot her right after Phoenix got shot by her, also if characters die, they probably got resurrected by Sage, her ability in game

some lore: so basically there is 2 earths and 1 of them is trying to steal radianite by planting a bomb/spike at any bombsite, one of the earths is called "mirror earth" so all the agents like pheonix exists on the other earth, in this case mirror earth. That is why there is 2 of 1 agent that is fighting each other...

As someone said, this game is more based on strategy and movement than aim. In the last video, it's like the premiere of episode 5 and a new map Pearl, located on Omega Earth

Just to make it clear cuz you didn‘t know Reyna‘s abilities (the purple lady): The orb she threw in the begining is called Leer and it nearsights enemies and kinda makes them deaf or it makes their hearing worse. She is a character that requires kills in order to use her abilites, for example when she smashed that man towards the wall and sucked his soul out she became invulnerable to other guards‘ attacks. That ability is called dismiss, so u basically grab the Soul Orb (these are the orbs that form when u kill an enemy) and become invulnerable for a short period of time. Her other ability that requires a soul orb is Devour, it let‘s u gain health drastically fast and it also gives u some extra heal (shield- for a certain period of time). Her ultimate is called Empress, it allows her to go in a „Frenzy“ or „Bloodlust“ mode which drastically increases fire rate and reload speed, but while using it u have unlimited access to Devour and Dismiss. When u kill an enemy and use dismiss (the ability that makes u invulnerable) u become invisible for 2 seconds and also ur health increases automatically . With each kill ur ultimate timer restarts, which means if ur good enough u can keep it throughout the whole game to kill every enemy. She‘s really overpowered when using her ult. And ur welcome for the explanation😂

I've been enjoying watching people react to Valorant cinematics lately. And I can understand that if you don't know the game, you can't understand some stuff, but I'm honestly surprised that you missed the mirror/alternate Earth thing.

now w all the new trailers, up until 8 i think.. in start its basically mirror earths jett (omega earth jett, lets say OE) and phoenix is alpha earth (let say AE).. and the floating island is aftermath of spike doing.. on 2nd one u see OE jett and viper die, but theres a agent called Sage, who can revive people (as her ult but in cinematics it doesnt matter), so thats why u see them later on too.. ep 3 OE phoenix had planted the spike and AE kj, phoenix and viper try to defuse it.. AE phoenix sees OE phoenix and gets confused.. after defuse near ship phoenix says "how come they look like us, and what do they need our radianite for?" which hints theres 2 earths.. then OE phoenix goes back to OE world and talks with OE jett, thats why they were in same team, cuz theres 2 different earths.. on ep 4 warm up, its just them warming up for a mission or something.. n u can see sage in the end, ponytail woman, she revives people after missions.. on ep 5, AE kj, reyna and neon go back to steal back radianite because they think it was for a weapon, even though it really was for life support system.. they go back to AE earth supposedly to see where radianite was to maybe protect it.. on ep 6 u can see astra and harbor discovering new map "lotus" and all other OE people like jett, raze, fade, sage and kj face the 2 AE agents who wandered into that new map.. on ep 7 u see new agent called deadlock who suffered emotionally by losing all of her friends, and physically by losing about 25% of her arm which is replaced with robot arm that has her ultimate which she points towards Gekkos lil guy.. on ep 8 they have a lot of lore.. starting that the guy w glasses was somekind of leader in an assassination group.. u see cypher use his ult (his hat) to scan for enemies.. Iso, who comes out of the corner, is one of the assassins in that group, but he quit as he said.. then they look for the whole organization boss.. omen wants answers because he was also part of that assassination group before turning into a ghost.. he tried to kill viper, u can see card saying DR. S. something.. thats doctor sabine which is vipers real name.. but viper spilled her toxin on omen which turned omen from human to that weird ghost.. n now he wants to deliver the info himself because he knows viper did this to him.. thats all we know ig.. ps my info might be slighty wrong here and there, but it has same idea

You also missed lore from the intro videos for Kay-O, Chamber, Neon, and Fade. Agents in the Valorant protocol also have a distrust for each other for different reasons. Example, Reyna really hates Viper and if given the chance would kill her own teammate Viper. Viper blames Sage for what happened to Omen. A lot of people don't trust Chamber, especially Astra and Fade. Omen and Viper are really close. There is so much more lore not on these cinematics.

Summary, there are 2 Earths. 1 which uses Radianite for energy, the other earth are trying to steal it for some reason. Both earths have the same exact agents. This is the first time I've seen a game that explains why the opposing side has the same people. I don't know much about Apex, but I do know that in Overwatch, there is no reason why members of team overwatch would fight themselves in real life (outside a similation) in game.

I'm pretty sure the way agents who died in previous cinematics came back is because Sage (A Radiant who can resurrect people) goes back after the fight is over and revives the dead Agents. (And it's not a simulation)

Ahh yes, the floating sky

Basically, there are 2 worlds. The world we've been following is the Alpha World, and the Invading world (In episodes 1-4) is the Omega World. The Omega world is having a Radianite Crisis which means they don't have the energy to power their world. The Alpha world has more radianite and don't use it as much, so the Omega world has been invading to steal radianite with the Spike. Because both worlds are identical more or less, all the agents are the same on both sides, giving a canon reason for both teams to have the same agents

The reason I started playing valorant was from the cinematics fr, it was so interesting and looked amazing and I wasn't wrong, it is my top game

2 Earths, so each side has their own iteration of every agent. The lore videos don’t throw 2 versions of the same character at each other to avoid confusion since they look the same. In-game the way you know who is on what side is a colored outline for the enemy team (red by default but you can change the enemy color)

The agents' names and abilities (Jet her top 3 ab abilities are dashing forward backwards left right to get out of harm's way) (2 ability is her smoke she can use a smoke to get around areas or to keep it from enemy's seeing her) 3rd ability is her up draft she can boost upwards 2 times) Her ultimate is her knife she has 6 or 7 of them if you miss them all they go away but if you get a kill they all respawn back. 2nd agent Sova his abilities are shock dart, scanning sonar, and his drone, 1st ability His drone he can have up to 10 seconds to drone out and try to ping someone 2nd ability his scan dart pretty much can scan but also if you press right click on the character, he can make his dark bounce 3rd ability is shock darts same as his sonar scanner he can use it to damage people you have 2 of those can also bounce off walls his ultimate is he can pull out a bow and use to to hit people threw if he knows where they are you get 3 shots but there is a timer on it so use it wisely 3rd agent name sage( healer type) her 1st ability is she can heal any injured team mates around her. 2nd ability she can place down a wall to stop people from coming in, but that wall can be broken by the enemy team. 3rd ability is she can slow people down by using her slow orb. All you have to do is throwing it on the ground to let it spread out or you can throw it up and let it go above ground. her ultimate is she can revive 1 dead person on your team back to life (Reyna the one in the trailer here) 1st ability is her eye she can throw her eye threw wall and blind the enemy line for 6 to 7 seconds but watch out it can be shot if not careful. 2nd ability is phasing away or taking health from your enemy you just killed. what i mean by this is you get 2 chances for this after killing an enemy you get an orb on the ground that either if your low on health can heal yourself all the way up or you can phase away from danger making you not be able to be shot at for 4 to 5 seconds her 3rd ability is her ultimate is she can reload faster and shoot faster also if she kills and enemy she can use that to fade away and regain all her health back.

Next time you should have subtitles on because rito always have at least 2 languages in their cinematics

Them using guns despite having powers is actually more realistic because if you think about it, guns are still more effective and powerful. It's accurate, long range and easier to use compared to their slow charging abilities. It is much faster and efficient to just shoot them than throw some fireballs and flying knives.

I assume It is basically a parallel world, you need radiantnite for the 1 one world to survive, and the other has the radiantnite, so one need to "steal" the radiantnite by exploding the bomb
