They didnt make ranked harder, they just doubled or tripled the time commitment for the same rewards as before. The casual playerbase has no reason to grind so hard for basically nothing. It's just a complete waste of time.

I miss the gold ranks. You know gold 4 where no one really cared enough to play sweatty but are just good enough to be challenging. Now every rank since bronze plays like it's the ALGS final round, because all that matters is staying alive the longest.

I’m not really good at apex at all but I try, I told myself last season that I was gonna start on a ranked grind this season. But it’s really hard to when I’m in rookie and bronze lobby’s and all I see behind me is diamond and master trails and the one random ttv pred wraith as the champion, with the new demotion and point system I can barely rank up without dying off drop or going back down to rookie. I herd that they are going to make some changes next split to make ranked better, but with the pros complaining every three seconds it might get worse

this rank seasons good if you have a pre made squad because playing solo queue this season is harder than ever

Ranked system needs tweaking, entry costs are slightly too high still, elim points will help tho. I don’t care for the pro play style myself so I haven’t been playing ranked at all. But I don’t think that’s what’s wrong with it.

They made Master rank pointless. It's back to how it was before Master was a thing. I swear these developers just do random stuff without thought.

the problem is that 2 people in gold can have different entry costs so teams in each rank are all playing in different ways

I like the idea of being rewarded for placement vs kills.. but the buy ins are way to high and they need to do away with the split. Im a casual gamer who is slightly better than average.. Pred 2x, masters 2x diamond 6x but I wont get out of plat because I dont play enough.. I dont think thats right. Not to mention the rewards are seasonal so why grind so hard for a trail that is gone in 90 days..

The only real reason I play ranked is so my teammates don't back out as soon as they get downed. I wish duo's and trios had something where you have to atleast wait 1-3 minutes after you get killed so that your teammate can grab you/or if banner times out. Whichever comes first.

Id like smaller entry fee for if you solo. Preloads are an advantage as you tend to be more cooperative. At least give solo players a slightly easier climb

I have been master since season 7, I am struggling in plat RN. Most games I get like 4/5 kills/assists and die 11th place or something and I loose points, with 1k avg dmg and 3+ K/D. It was a bit too easy last season I have to admit, this season tho.. It's something I never experienced before. In season 7, I didn't have to grind this hard and lobbies were D3+ ..

as a Season 3 diamond, who is just getting into apex again, i know 10000% i can get to masters if i work hard, but atm im having a hard time leaving gold. its 10x harder than any other season...these new changes are VERY welcomed

As someone who has the new Tucson I can vouch for its quality. I love my Tucson. Its the best car I have had so far. I got the petrol version currently but I will swap it out for an electric in 2024. Nice sponsor spot. Hyundai is really pushing these cars. I saw them in No Way Home and Uncharted movies.

I'm getting people 2 tiers lower than me on my team because I solo queue... I'll also end up going against people a tier or two ahead of me (let's say I get rookie team mates and I'm silver but go against gold and plat). It isn't fair that I get useless teammates (lots of the time super low levels) while I go against decent players... Servers are also sheit with major rubber banding but no choke or packet loss.

The most annoying thing has to be the slight differences in entry costs. Even if all 3 people are in the same Division, the lowest ranked player breaks even first while the other two still end up slightly negative. And with how hard it is to get points in this new system, the two teammates who are still negative usually don’t want to push any more fights until they at least break even, making every game super boring and campy 🤷🏻‍♂️

i solo que in ranked and i rarely have a 3 stack and when i do they're dont have very good game sense and i get upset when playing with them because they don't listen and we just end up playing pubs if we dont have a good few games

The reason there are so few master players is because as soon as you reach diamond you're immediately in pred lobbies. So the pro players get to farm not only master players like before, but now diamond players too. The system is fine, the matchmaking for lobbies is broken. I guess that's what happens when all the pros cry about queue times at the beginning of the split.

Solo Q ranked this season is the worst out of any season I have ever played! I was diamond in every single season with ease! Now I am stuck at platin 4 to gold 1 every day! Just this night I played like 9 rounds with the same guy that griefed me every single round! He died the first 3 rounds pretty quickly and made some stupid mistakes and I just called him out for that. After that he was toxic as shit and I stopped counting the rounds he griefed after 9 rounds. He always landed alone somewhere, did not looted anything I pinged at all. The other mate and I had to 2v3 in every single fight! It's so frustrating how a single person can ruin the game for 2 players at a time and stop you from progressing in your ranked grind! "RP will be a more accurate representation of your overall game skill." Totaly my game skill when I lose like 430 RP to a single idiot because I have to 2v3 every fight

i like the new system but it's more punishing yet less rewarding. respawn decrease entry cost by 10, i don't know wether it will change much. i wish they will fix matchmaking, rookie to gold in a lobby with new system is weird. it's like having new players and master player in a lobby another point is demotion protection only on rank 4 will always make more players stay at rank 4 rather than smoother rank distribution.

My trio crew quit playing ranked...im a single dad with full time job and don't have the time to put in but even before I could at least his plat but now it's too hard and time consuming to fly solo

They should just reduce the amount of preds to 250 per plattform. The initial reason why they increased pred count from 500 to 750 was because there were way too many masters. And preds had insane amounts of rp, so it was almost impossible to catch up and reach pred rank if you were late to the season. But now things are way different

DISCLAIMER: I'm not a dev or business expert, just offering my two cents The List: more money: real world QUALITY, purchasable items eg. a shield battery night lamp. wraith's airship assassin onesie, crypto's jacket, bobblehead nessie. quality of life improvements: sound balancing ( no sound from foot steps or hearing staging from epicentre ) Marking the champion or champion's team with a snoic boom effect or something ( I know, being painted as a target doesn't sound fun, neither is being hunted but this make it much easier to find said champion for the extra XP or if you'd like to test your skills without going into ranked ) possible new modes: golden guns ( every gun in the loot pool is found on the ground in it's golden form ) gun game from call of duty ( land with a gun, every kill changes the gun to a more difficult gun to use/kill with; solo no armor ) evolving guns ( no attachments are available, killing with base guns evolve said gun with attachments sight, mag, stock etc. ) participation in the apex universe: voting polls ( legends re-color? vote for it. holo spray ideas? vote for it. Etc. ) Contests and give aways ( this always gets people talking ) Personal note-communication between Devs and players is great, can be improved. How about letting us know what's going on in your heads, letting us know the problems and intentions for the changes that are being made before hand. 2 heads are better than 1 but too many can't be productive either; let us find that middle ground. New finishers for the original legends New gun ideas: energy pistol that fires once before reloading like golden eye's golden gun ( portable railgun perhaps? has high penetration ) Some kind of tesla gun, a tesla LMG perhaps? ranked: more rewards for placement, dive trail idea (flat lazer like darkside's eyes lazers) new badges: lights out badge- kill a player of full health and shield by only using melee ( does not apply if player is damaged by anything else ie. lava, teammates, cluster bombs etc.) 15 kill badge, thirsty badge- thirst 5/10/15 players in a single match, head hunter jutus- win the match after kill both champion and kill leader ( does not apply if they're one in the same ), vendetta- thirst the player that kill you, quick draw- kill a player within 20 seconds of landing from the drop ship, gold member- unlock all golden gun camo etc. unlockable gun camos: from call of duty doing challenges like 50 crouch kill with the shotgun unlocks a pink camo for that gun, unlocking all camos unlocks the golden gun camo. Season 13 thoughts Downfall in ranked - interesting Reusing dive trails - I'm not amsued Kraber nerf - why thou? I personally love the leatheality of that gun once you put in the time and effort to learn it, now thou.... New legends - it seem you've stumbled onto the paladin's route (a team based game I used to love). Combining 2/3 previous champions I mean legends to make a new one

Like the new ranking system in theory. My problem is my friends are stupid and randoms are stupid. Also, why am I in Platinum 4 but my random teammates are Silver 1 and Gold 3/4 but I'm going against people currently in Diamond, Masters, and Pred? Just horrible. If more people understood you have to play together and listened, it'd be better. I was playing with my friend yesterday and this random died twice, ON PURPOSE. He wouldn't leave.... My friend and I got to third and the random said, "Thanks for the points, bro." LIKE WHAT!?

The ranked system actually is hard rn. We always get matched up with masters and diamonds. My highest rank was plat IV and I don't think I can go beyond that. I did win a few matches by camping and playing safe. 3:10 ... 55+32 is easy, us Asians are supposed to be good at maths. 😆😆Jk.
