This Cookbook contains the steps and scripts for rolling out an AKS cluster with API management. The services are only accessible via Azure's API Management Gateway, as the services are exposed as ClusterIP type (Kubernetes internal). The AKS Vnet is peered with a Management Vnet (Spoke Hub topology) and this management HUB vnet is linked to the API management Gateway.
The API Management gateway is a scalable Azure service for managing and maintaining your (micro) services. With policies you can throttle usage, enforce authentication and even enforce flows for example for monitoring purposes. More information can be found here: azure.microsoft.com/en-au/ser...
