Thomas and Robbe review the APL Streamline, a fashion-turned-running shoe that honestly surprised us in a lot of ways. It sure as hell ain't perfect, and it sure as hell costs a pretty penny, but it's a whole lot better than a lot of shoes we've run in over the last few years. Now, is it worth $300? That buy-in price is an automatic pass.. There’s nothing in this shoe that warrants that asking price.

I just bought a pair for my brother's Christmas gift. Y'all sold me on the brand. He's always been a runner, but he has 4 kids now and a wife that missed him all day. I got their zip liner sneaker and it’s the best sneaker I have (vs. designer ones that I purchased for same or more $$$). So comfy, doesn’t hurt my feet and recommend 100% I didn’t even “break in” when I first wore them - it felt like I wore them for years

$99 at Dicks right now, I bought out of sheer curiosity. The other running focused reviews I read actually say they’re horrible garbage so we’ll see 😅 Shows how much I trust this channel, I’m sure it was tempting to trash it because of the price alone because, of course, it still ain’t worth $300. That doesn’t mean it’s automatically bad though! I appreciate the honesty, and I’ll never forgive you if they suck!

about a year ago now, I watched this video and commented on the ridiculous price point of 300.00, which btw, according to APL's website is now up another 20.00. So the Streamline is now an even more expensive 320.00. Anyway, I happen upon a Nordstrom Rack that had one of these shoes in their clearance section and it happened to be my size. I ended up paying a much more palatable 90.00 (120.00 on clearance + the 25% off clear the rack event). It' really is a decent shoe. and it's hard to believe that the midsole is not nitrogen injected. It feels great under foot though and the upper is very comfortable.

Glad you finally got to try it! it's definitely pricey but at that Nordstrom Rack price that's a steal. Surprisingly nice running shoe that beats a lot of other "real" running shoes.

You can almost buy an entire shoe rotation for that much of you shop around. Over summer I think I've actually managed it with puma velocity nitro, puma liberate nitro and new balance RC elite for about that much. 🤯🤯🤯

in India - Brooks Aurora BL retails for approx. $275, Ultraboost retails for approx. $247, and Alphafly Next% retails for approx. $313. These look reasonably priced. ;)

I use APL shoes for casual walking around town/ work. Never considered them as a running brand. Interested but that price point…

my Streamlines started falling apart after 6 runs (40km approx). The insole is becoming unglued or unstitched and some weird brown dots are appearing on them. I wrote Customer Service and they had the nerve to offer a 10% on my next shoes!!

$300 for a daily trainer. Looks like a marketing stunt to me - then suddenly it drops to half price but people will at least know about it by then.

300 is hard pill to swallow especially when you’re comparing it to a novablast or peg or even the pricey aurora ( still a $100 cheaper) , not even a fancy pantsy plate as well, but hey , to each their own, Louie vutton , Gucci , some folks gottta have that label and being a running shoe whore, I may just delusional to buy it😂

as someone with wide feet, I wish they will just make more wide size, instead of this make the regular shoe slightly wider, which made no big difference for me not wide enough. Can't think of a single speed shoe with wide size.

No interest in the shoe, watched to the end for the Thomas and Robbe banter with a special shout out to the graphics/ animation creator! The shoe reminds me a lot of the Zoom Fly SP.
