As always, you IMPRESS me with you videos. As far as am concerned you are the BEST Abuja Vlogger. You go deeper into Abuja, and show a lot of places, we don't see.
my area in Abuja, you passed my house lol. That shopright road ruins my trip anytime I come back home. We have been begging them since 2014, incompetent FCT minister after incompetent minister. Just subscribed.
@@Bigwillz And you have a tough time getting a bungalow approved in Abuja lately. Thay don't want bungalow anymore. They want Abuja to be the city of magnificent buildings.
Wow thanks for your video.. my friend stay at apo too and if don't mind maybe soon you can make video about apo mechanical village.. my greeting from Jakarta Indonesia 🌹🌹🌹
@@diaveldaniel9264 it wont take much to fix though. Maybe citizens at home and abroad need to see what we can do? I know it's not our responsibility but we need to look at things differently. We can even have an 'adopt' a street initiative. It can involve residents and schools too. We are going to have to be proactive. All it takes are some iron grids over the top even. I think we need to stop being vocal about the problems but passive about the solutions.
@@sylviasworld9397#fact, but only if you are in Nigeria then you will understand better, government are so bad here, they don't want Nigerians to see beautiful things, they rather travel abroad and come back to steal money for project and travel back to build properties abroad, NO we can't fix it though , because if you try to even tie a road to your own hux is a big problem from the government to you
@@diaveldaniel9264 I'm talking about citizens not the government. I feel we need to consider alternatives instead of only talking about the government all the time. I know it's their responsibility but we know they won't do it, so what is our response to get those things done? There must be a way we are yet to consider or try.
Fine houses, but no pedestrian sidewalks. There are open gutters, and the place lacks vegetation and greenery. I think the capital city authorities should ensure that the estate developers abide by the rules of modern estates
at around 13:27 that man walking right in front of your car shows the importance of a pedestrian sidewalks, that angle is a death trap, if it was at night and the person walking was a kid , the possibility of a car hitting the person is high, where a pedestrian sidewalks is supposed to be constructed has been replaced with open gutters.
I just don't know why Nigerian govts do this shit. They MUST KNOW they need sidewalks, yet they keep building this primitive shit with open drains and no walks.
Bros...so you been reach my area...well done oo...hope say people no go begin run come this side now after this video...come make rent go up...abeg make them leave us for this side oo to dey enjoy good rent make them dey go Maitama and Asokoro, those places fine pass abeg😉
Bigwillz, thank you very much for the great "public service". Please, someday, give a consideration to doing Abuja Model City (6th Avenue) in Gwarinpa, especially Marcus Poli Estate. Many thanks
@bigwillz dishing out juicy contents back to back kudos. Had always thought Apo resettlement is a "slum area" Thanks for educating me as well as showcasing the beauty of the environment. By the way..this channel deserves minimum of 500k subs. I see it coming!!!!!! keep up the great work.
Really cool. Thanks for showing the beauty of Apo. Because the perception of people is very odd. Please can u tell us about the mini estates in (basic estate, maybe estate and the likes) lokogoma area too. Your channel is awesome.
All the existing roads are temporary infrastructures which will be replaced with the standard primary and secondary infrastructures in due time. I have been living in Abuja since 1998 and that is how all the places you appreciated in Maitama,Asokoro,Wuye,Jabi,Utako etc was before the main infrastructures were put in place.
Interesting!! I wish the Lagos state government would emulate this concept of re-settlement for Makoko people of Lagos instead of burning down their homes!!
Apo is a place with huge growth potential for the future! That major road undergoing dualization leading into the area is officially designated as the Outer Southern Expressway - it is supposed to run from the roundabout behind Aso Villa, past Apo, Kuje and terminate just after Gwagwalada on the Abuja-Lokoja highway. It will serve as a Southern bypass to the city the way Kubwa Road (Outer Northern Expressway) serves as a Northern bypass. Together with the stretch of Federal Highway between Gwagwalada and Zuba, these roads form a Great Ring Road encircling the Abuja Metropolitan Area.
Traffic can be really nasty there sometimes. But there are some estates I found quite nice, especially from EFAB estate and beyond. The shopping mall equally makes things convenient. But FCT, PLEASE work on the traffic. PLEEEEASE.
Bro! Thanks for posting! It is now clear that Katampe extension and Guzape are far, far superior to Apo & Apo Resettlement! Aside big houses, the main thing is the infrastructure and landscape: roads and cleanliness. It definitely looks like Guzape and Katampe extension have higher class/wealthier people. What do you think?
@@johnbroderick5626 The cost of land varies from one seller to another also depending on location and they range from 50mil sometimes less to over a 100mil.
Everyone is complaining about Open gutters and sidewalks and it's true. How about private individuals building these magnificent buildings doing their sidewalk over closed gutters that run through their properties. Homeowners are responsible to fix their sidewalk in America. My sidewalk is my responsibility to fix and maintain. If there's a Crack and someone fell in front of my building, I will be legally accountable.
The houses in Apo are beautiful, only that the place is not landscaped properly like places such as Maitama, Asokoro and Katampe extension. This is only reason I think this area can't compete with the other high brow areas.
Apo is new and still developing, those sides are older and more developed. I lived in wuse II/ maitama area from 2004 - 2017 before coming here and they were already fine since then but these sides are new, give them time and see results.
I have a question if it's convenient for you to answer. I have noticed that many glass windows of cars or keke in Abuja are broken like your cars. Can you tell me why and how?
You driving on the highway say behind a truck or a car and you hear tye sound of a pebble hit your screen and cracks it. Few days later after parking under the hot sun, you see a long line on the screen. That's it
Stop socioeconomical injustices in Africa (nigeria) build the whole Africa like Abuja , it's can be done if you are honest, more poverty in Africa than the rest of the world=corruption, bad attitude
Lekki does not have good domestic water and then flooding is a problem. Wait, until global warming hit the ground running then most part of Lekki will be swept away.
What's the essence of comparing tho start with? Just enjoy where you dey, we wey here love the place. Abuja is not any mainland or island division, almost everywhere are like the same, equality, but Lagos has divisions. Sides for the poor and average suffering under heat and heavy traffic, then side for the very rich, that is nonsense.
A two bedroom goes from anything between 700k to 1.2M per annum. A plot of land varies in price based on location and the person selling. It ranges from 3M and above
@@Bigwillz Yes I have subscribed. Thank you for your respons. Also what of Lugbe? And link from Jabi to lugbe? Or is from Express road to airport? Thanks
The nice houses that are built individually, land 500sqm will cost you over 30M. if you see to buy. i have a house there, Land was allocated . Still have it and i am building twin duplex in the land. I saw the land in your video next to a house that was in the market for N150 M as far back as 2018
