Yup yup the expectation on failure for those poor knifes was very similar to the expectation of failure on my poor math test I'm getting back tomorrow...
Rohan Horsfield Better to know when something will give out when you need it. Those tests go far past what would usually be demanded but at least it means the blades are prepared for anything
No joke, these knives actually seem to be really badass. They are actually good quality having the ability to hold that sharpness and strength, legit impressive
Turbo Trickster I highly doubt that they're aggressive in real life. They put on tough faces to try to look cool for the video. They're probably just regular dudes.
What aggression? Are you mistaking the act for a characteristic? Can you read people? The best way to kill someone is with the same face you have on, zero advertisement
I-i dont understand... why would someone be be like "omg these targets that simulate human torsos and heads are too graphic for me i cant handle it PLS REMOVE DEMONITIZED" this is a WEAPON company. They make sharp and durable knives, swords, axes etc. Its like being butthurt over a gun company showing off their guns using these targets
I'm just an every day consumer who has purchased there blades and they are everything they say they are. I'm a weapons collected and have seen many of today's knives fail. They probably can't show them because those companies would sue. You can't destroy there shit the prove yours is better without there permission I'm sure. Leave that to objective buyers not companies in competition.
Yep its a scam, katana is the sharpest afterall. A tatami mat is used to test it, but to be precise, a wet tatami. Not the dry one. Even a baby can cut dried tatami with kitchen knife.
arthur medeiros Theres a very good reason behind diagonal cutting: it provides less surface area to the blade at one time, reducing the effort needed to cut through the object. The true tests are when you cut something head on - it relies more on the sharpness of the blade and less of the technique of the cut, relatively.
I like how he gave the advisory about the human target being called "particularly graphic", and "viewer discretion is advised" after they already played like ten clips of the dude getting slaughtered to pieces
I love watching your testing videos as they always entice me into buying something new. However I must ask, doesn't it get expensive going through all those resources every single video?
I have about half of these. They are every one incredible weapons of war. No one beats Cold Steel. I only buy Cold Steel now. And have for over 20 years. Beautiful. Practical. Affordable. Masterful. Precise. I love them.
Realizing I’ve watched this video every year sometime twice a year since I discovered it years ago. Thank you cold steel for giving me a real mans ASMR
People often take issue with the fact that it's not "traditionally" made I think, more than the actual quality. I own a few traditionally made weapons that I'm perfectly happy with, however, I am also every bit as happy with CS weapons. When push comes to shove, I'd use either weapon and I'm sure they wouldn't fail me. CS might actually have the edge since it has modern science/techniques on its side.
Been loving their products for many years. My home looks like a museum of Cold Steel ® products. In fact there's a Cold Steel knife clipped to my pants pocket right now.
You know what is very humerous. The intense feel of distinctness of Dog the bounty hunter. There is nothing more powerful than dog the bounty hunter. In fact his name is so iconic it isn't a proper noun. Indeed it is a word at this point in life a word that represents a god or an extraterrestrial being.
My Medieval fencing instructor showed me cold steel videos to teach me what telegraphing is. He said "it's basically when your cuts are so wide a blind person would see them coming" After that he started hitting my wrist every time I do it. (because you cut from the wrist). Thx Cold Steel.
I love Cold Steel my house is full of your weapons, i got 4 machettes, kurki, doubled handed, etc. I got the battle mace "my fav" demolisher, 2 brooklyn smashers, 2 recons 1, 2 voyagers, 1 warrior katana, and few other one's. I keep buying cold steel for a reason and i am a picky person. I have abused the shit out of my doubled handed machette i cut down a small tree with it. I can truely say i love the product if you search my videos you will see dodge vs brookyln crusher. I used it on a junk dodge. CS if you ever want to give me free stuff please do lol :)
this seemed more like a "my product is better than the other products" infomercial than anything.... we get it. YOUR knife is better than the rest.......
